The name's 25. Bond 25, or rather, it's NTTD.

I do like Devil May Care, but somehow I doubt they would use it (maybe just because it is the book's title and permission would be needed, etc.).

It wouldn't be too hard for them to acquire permission , would it ?

I remember before the Skyfall title reveal , rumours were spread that it would be named 'Carte Blanche', That's a pretty good title too

Logan will have plenty of titles. They won't use continuation novels.

I don't think that will be a problem mate,
It never is , all the way from Dr. No to Skyfall. I loved each and every title of the Bond films.

I think Logan will choose titles not derivative of Fleming.

Yes, I think that's very likely

Hopefully he sets a good example for such a thing, too.

    Yet Skyfall sounds very Flemingesque.

I don't think he will do it, but there are many titles of chapters that could work as a movie title: The Shadower, The Red-Eyed Catacomb, The Silver Phantom...

You don't think what will be a problem?

  • While I'm not much of a fan of the Benson novels, I always thought that "Zero Minus Ten" would make a great film title.

I would like to see them do a continuation/conclusion to the Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace storyline. I love the idea of the title Tears Run Red

Well it's actually a title of a chapter in Moonraker (it's actually just 'Zero Minus'. It was mentioned earlier in the thread that Bond 24 should be titled 'Zero Minus' and then Bond 25, if a two-parter, be called 'Zero Plus', which is also a Moonraker chapter title).

Again, in Bond 24 I’d like to see the movie seize the mood of M’s speech in Skyfall where she talks about 'the shadows' because I think it's an important metaphor for the type of world Bond lives in, and where his enemies come from. This is why I think that 'shadow' should be worked into the title in some way. Here's a list of some of the titles I thought up off the top of my head:

    The Man in the Shadows
    Day of the Shadow
    The Shadow Men
    Shadow-man
    Night-shadow
    Ice-shadow
    Shadow-fire
    Fire in the Shadows
    Eye of the Shadow
    Into the Shadows
    Shadows Never Fade
    Never Fear the Shadows
    Shadows in Daylight

If it deals with the head of Quantum I think "eye of the shadow" works well. Kinda the center of Quantum like eye of the hurricane which would make sense if they introduce a "Blofeld" type head figure

I really like Shadows in Daylight myself...

    The Dead Never Kill
(play off expression "can't never could")

    Between Two Evils

    I don't know.

    Have And To Hold
    Policy Of Truth

I like short one- or two-word titles. Skyfall was a good example.

Execute (I'm repeating myself, I know)
Below Blood (some organization in a very deep Cold War bunker)
Risk (might be better than Risico, which I still like)
World Cut (a word play on a story revolving around the 2014 World Cup)
    The Pursuit
    Projectile Seven

If it was not the name of a beer, Operation Corona, from the novel OHMSS, would have made a great title.

We could do 'Operation Coronado'.. which is close and could be the villains name.
