I'd like to work for MI6 (the people who can't tell the difference)

We had the first applicant with the new 'contact us' ticket system. We thought that might stem the tide of people trying to join the SIS. Apparently not....

<pre>Dear Madame, dear Monsieur,
I am french-originally from Lebanon. I lived in Russia
(I studied medicine: 1990-1997). I speak for languages.
I want to work for the account of MI6 for two reasons:
1/ I would like to conjugate my knowledge and experiences
of the different cultures in order to put it at the disposal of MI6.
2/ I admire England and the english culture.
Best Regards,
Charles ****

  • Funny :-)) Last time I checked, you had to be a british citizen in order to work for MI6 anyway.

i kind of like the part where they say... "I speak for languages" - what languages does this person speak on behalf of?? Clearly not English...
  • Wasn't there a whack job lady that kept on e-mailing you guys requesting support, agents placed in certain locations, dead drops and things like that a couple of years back?

I remember that thread! Great stuff... it would be a shame to lose it. Have you got that saved by chance, James?

We really need to keep them going for a while. Tell them to come to a specific place (say in Africa) at a specific time for some obscure training, all sober and carrying a gun.

Well, given the MI6/ SAS bungle in Libya the other week, it appears they're already doing exactly that and messing it up without any help from us... ;)

@Thunderfinger is Charles. I can't imagine he's allowed to comment based on the secretive nature of his work.
