Oscar winning star of Taratino's Inglorious Bast*rds. He'd be an incredible villain. Multi-lingual also.

Christian Bale - would also be perfect. I picture a soldier-for-hire killing for everyone with a wallet big enough. Bond knows to be on his list. Get your revenge for the shame of the "Golden Gun", James!
My choices:
Frank Langella: Too old? Do you remember Blofeld and Stromberg? He would be my top Quantum leader. Watch him in "Frost/Nixon" (Bond fighting Nixon!), Dracula and - no joke - He-Man.
John DeLancie: TV actor of "Star Trek: Next Generation" and "Torchwood: Miracle Day". He is brilliantly explosive and possesses a razor-sharp wit.
After reading Carte Blance I developed an appreciation of a Monty Burns style villain played by Tom Hanks. This may be kinda far-fetched but Hanks is extremely capable and steps out of his comfort zone nowadays. Watch him in "Charlie Wilson's War"! Of course he has to wear grey hair and a goatee. Nobody wants to hurt Forest Gump.
James Nesbitt - So incredibly under-rated. I think he is one of the finest actors of his generation. Just watch him go deliciously over-the-top in Jekyll. He will be around in "The Hobbit" for comic relief.
Michael Emerson - No matter how convoluted Lost got, it was always a pleasure with Emerson around. I never saw a character on TV that acted more under his private and diffuse motifs than him. As shady as it gets!
Kenneth Branagh - bored, obsessive, rich. A 21st century Goldfinger!
I would also suggest Rowan Atkinson. He seems typecasted as Mr. Bean but even there he can get extremely ruthless and nasty. He is an actor of Shakespearean boldness, pure British and does look the part. A shame he was turned down as HP's Voldemort. A shaved head and a complete beard would be sufficient to get rid of the Bean comparison.
I think they blow a major chance to not have a Ralph Fiennes baddie or a Hugo Drax played by Javier Bardem...
RIP Mr Lom - He was a comedic villain in King Solomons Mines 1985 alongside John Rhys Davies.

Charlie Chaplin would have been absolutly explosive. He would have raise to the occasion and leave us with an unforgettable performance. Great choice.

After seeing Heath Ledger's Joker in The Dark Knight, beside him as a potential as a James Bond, he could've also been a good villain. But the closest thing to The Joker in a 007 film was Raoul Silva (Bardem's portrayal of that character reminds me of Heath Ledger's Joker).
Christian Bale: Now just like other people (and myself), he was one of my candidate for James Bond. I also think he would make a great villain also. I would love to see Daniel Craig and Bale going to hand to hand (imagining Batman vs James Bond).
Jordi Mollà:
After watch Bad Boys 2 on how he portrayed a drug dealer, I thought he may make an excellent Bond Villain, he could play a Sanchez-like character, or a leader of a militant group. Hell, if Javier Bardem wasn't Raoul Silva, I would've glad to cast Jordi as Silva.
Mark Strong:
Watch Sherlock Holmes and you'll know why I would love to see him as a Bond villain.
-Michael Emerson, of Lost fame. Could play a great psychopathic Bond villain.
-Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, also from Lost, perhaps like his character from The Bourne Identity.

Care to suggest some actors for other Fleming villains straight out of the books?
One that could have played a Bond villain back in the 90s is IanMcShane. Now he is a bit old too. As for Le Chiffre in the 60s, I would imagine Leo McKern or Peter Ustinov. Patrick Magee could have played a magnificent Blofeld in YOLT or OHMSS, although I wonder how physical he could have been against Lazenby. And had he not become a priest and become a professional actor instead, Karol Wojtyla would have made a perfect Blofeld in OHMSS.
-Martin Landau would have been a great henchman in the 60s( similar to when he play Leonard in NBNW and a Great main villain in the 70s or 80s
-Elvis Presley- I know Tom Parker would not have allowed it , but Elvis playing a villain would have been very interesting
-Kevin Spacey in the 90s
I dont see any similarities between Strong and Flemings Scaramanga. And am I the only one who sees Strong as the go to guy from films that cant afford A list talent? Dont get me wrong hes competent enough and always does a solid job but hes not in the same league as Bardem is he? Bond films are playing in the Champions League now and we should be looking at the RVP end of the transfer market not Stewart Downing.
Toby Jones is very underrated and would be perfect as Auric and Kingsley, Waltz and Spacey woud all be dream casting (surely Spacey has to have pretty good odds of being the next Bond villain if Mendes ends up back on board given their time together at the Old Vic?).
Harris I'd frankly never heard of until Sherlock Holmes (hes OK as Moriarty but no great shakes) and his CV is pretty run of the mill - I think we can do better.
Eamonn Walker is the big surprise here. The idea of Marigold from In Sickness and In Health being a Bond villain is on the face of it ludicrous but I find myself coming round to your way of thinking 007InVT. His performance in Lord Of War is certainly enough to show he has the requiste menace. You have my approval Sir.
