Pam Grier - Fatima Blush, even though she's not a character from the official franchise, but it's the first thing I thought of. If not that, then maybe Corrine Dufour or even Pam Bouvier

Bowie - The Thin White Duke could work as Professor Dent, Max Zorin, maybe LeChiffre or even Necros or Max Kalba. Certainly one of those names, he could fit right in

The Thin White Duke? - never heard of that description of Bowie, but then I am just getting into him, I suppose.

Ian McDiarmid could have been a great M during Judy Dench's tenure I think.

Why John Hurt was never cast in a Bond film is beyond me. But there's still time I guess. ;-) Anyway, I'd suggest Kamal, Koskov, Miskin, LeChiffre,... My preference would be a sinister LeChiffre in CR.

Liz was a stunningly beautiful model in the 90s. I think I might believe her more as a nuclear physicist in TWINE than Denise.

John Hurt - possibly Dimitri Mishkin, Professor Dent maybe or even Aris Kristatos. Some may deem as ridiculous answers, but say again, this contest is never really easy

Hurley - Xenia Onatopp, or possibly Naomi or Christmas Jones as stated

I've just discovered this thread and I regret I've missed so much!
Ian McDiarmid could have made a great Foreign Secretary in QOS or a new Minister of Defense post Geoffrey Keen.

John Hurt could've played a great M during Dalton's tenure.

    Elizabeth Hurley as Paris Carver.

(I don't want to derail the discussion, but seeing the previous actors, I can't resist to imagine Jim Gandolfini as a true menacing and psychotic Brad Whitaker.)

Ian McDiarmid and John Hurt both would've made a great M or Mr. White.

Liz Hurley - Mary Goodnight; Paula Caplan; Magda; Caroline (MI6's psychologist evaluator)- although she deserves a bigger role than this.

Wow! What a line up DD! :O

Ian McDiarmid without doubt the best Sith for me and I know that's controversial would be my Mr White as there is that menace about him!

John Hurt I would have as M or Q!

Liz Hurley I would say maybe Paris Carver!

I would say Ian McDiarmid would be Carver.
John Hurt would be either Q, M or maybe an older Le Chiffre, however in his younger years he would still have looked the part.
Can't think of one for Liz, there are so many different people she could be.

Elizabeth as the Cigar Girl in TWINE PTS. :)
Hurt would be a very good Q, I think. For a villain, possibly Renard.

Ian McDiarmid. Stormberg, Drax or Eliot Carver
John Hurt. Mathis. Inspyred by his part in Harry Potter.
Elizabeth Hurley. Paris Carver or the part that go now to Danish girl or Dr Warmflash in Twine.

#36 Ian McDiarmid - How about as a Strangways-esque character.

#37 John Hurt - The first possibility that comes to mind is as M through the 90's and into the early 2000's.

#38 Elizabeth Hurley - A 90's Bond Girl... i'm going to agree with @DarthDimi & @Baltimore_007, Elizabeth Hurley as Christmas Jones. As easy on the eye as Richards was, but with the added believability in the role that wasn't present with Richards.

Nemoy as a sinister Drax in '79.

Derek as a gorgeous Magda in '83 or possibly Domino in '83.

DiCaprio is perfect IMO for the Craig era! Might have been a good Felix in CR and QOS.

Apparently he doesn't get the point of the thread.

Anyway. Nimoy as Scaramanga. Outrageous I know but I think it would have been genious.

    also for a future suggestion.
    Charles Bronson. ;)

Leonard Nimoy - Prince Kamal Khan, maybe Professor Dent, or Mister White

Bo Derek - Melina Havelock, perhaps Stacey Sutton or Kara Milovy

DiCaprio - I thought and I thought, but just couldn't place him anywhere. Apologies

I would've cast Nimoy as Stromberg, but I like @Dimi's choice of a sinister Drax.

I'm not too familiar with Bo Derek, but she looks like she would've made a decent Honey Rider or Naomi.

DiCaprio deserves a bigger role, but I'd like to see him as Slate from QoS. It would've been interesting to see him and Craig slug it out.

    Nimoy for Renard

    Bo Derek as Naomi

    Di Caprio as Dario

Leonard Nemoy would make a good a good Scaramanga!

Bo Derek would be Stromberg's pilot Naomi!

And Leonardo DiCaprio would funnily enough be my Karl Stromberg! :D

Nimoy as Drax. He could pull off those lines even better.

Bo Derek as Timothy Dalton's Moneypenny - would still need to give her better lines, though.
Also Bo as Magda in OP or Stacy in AVTAK.

DiCaprio could be so many ... but we are sticking to correct ages, right? Makes it more limited for sure. How about Gustav Graves?

Bronson would in his older days be an acceptable Stromberg I think.

Lee would have been a fine Scaramanga I'm quite sure.

James might have been an intriguing Whitacker.

La Cardinale, my my, Fiona of course.

Charles Bronson: Blofeld in OHMSS. Would have been an interesting game changer. Blofeld would have a completely different look while Bond wouldn't recognized him but Blofeld would have known it was Bond all along but toying with him. However Bronson would have made a good Felix in Goldfinger.

Lee Van Cleef: Scaramanga. He has that rough edge to his appearance and had that playful look to him. His cold voice would sound more appropriate as an assassin.

    James Coburn: As Kristatos.
