Thank you DD. Wise words there that we can all do with following and adhering to. I came to MI6 Community precisely because it allows members room to breathe, unlike many of the less successful forums that are in competition with it. I will remain a member here as long as I have the confidence and respect of members and moderators here. I'm not interested in entering into arguments with members who clearly have their own axe to grind. I'll say no more than that. Any member can PM me if they are unhappy with my membership here and not let it spill into an unrelated thread. In fact, that is the dictionary definition of spam.
- No member coming from a different forum carries a past with him, troll or not.
- Every member starts with equal chances.
- Should trolling ensue, moderating will happen irrelevant of whether there's a past or not. If friendly PM's result in nothing, three warnings build up to a suspension or ban.
- We do not methodically check out newcomers' backgrounds on other forums. If we learn something, we do so utterly by accident.
- Former MI6 trolls, however, will not be condoned to return for sloppy seconds. When unmasked, TO BAN is stamped firmly on their new account. This forum prides itself on its great members but also on its low tolerance towards those who once, even long ago, laboured hard to destabilize it.
- No-one's perfect. Absolutely no-one.
On neither of those counts have I sinned. As per your above insinuations re: me, @DarthDimi, you may join the rank and files of those who have only served to bait me and whom I will no longer be communicating with. If MI6Community staff desires a dialogue, they may send another man for the job.
This thread is for people going away but Dragonpol is this time here to stay. ENDS
@oo7, you have been asked as nicely as possible to drop it. This is not the place for this contentiously childish behavior, and we all certainly don't need to hear what you felt was your business to report, when in reality you had no right. You have done more arguing and muckracking lately than you have been discussing Bond, so I suggest you work on doing more of the latter. Now, let's get off of this topic and onto the one that this thread is meant for: helloes and goodbyes!
Wow, that post was a general post about a banned member. Strange thing that you think it's about you, @Richardo.
A trifle ominous...
Don't leave because of one argument (if what happened on this thread is why you're leaving). Also, it's like you said.
Welcome back, JrW_008. :) You are right, life gets in the way and many of us take needed breaks due to other commitments, change of interests, etc. But indeed welcome back.
Nice to have you back!
Too many stories to tell-- busted my nose last week, got maced this week...
Good to be back on the MI6 board, at least for a while
Did I miss anything good?
I got two of these on Ebay!
Alongside that, 'Grand Theft Auto V' is a mere few weeks away, it looks like Bryan Cranston will play Lex in the 'Superman vs. Batman' film with Timothy Dalton possibly playing Alfred, and James Spader will be playing the villain Ultron in 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron.'
Nice to see this site is spot on with Bond news!!
You've been gone a year! Christ how time flies...
--Dragonpol.
You bring a lot to this forum, don't ever forget that.
