  • Good Afternoon Gentlemen and Ladies,

As an introduction I will condense the events that have had me reach this page. i wish to avail of your combined knowledge in order for me to pursue a career as a lookalike. Groooaan I hear you say, I understand, I would say that since the release of casting of DC as 007 I have been more and more often stopped in public and my resemblance commented upon. Bear with me, thank you, after being introduced to The Joshua Foundation I was asked to Front a Charity Fashion Show at the Grosvener Casino. Since when I have been asked to appear as 007 for Macmillan and Stroke Assoc. I now have a former top model who is the image of Eve.
I would like the support of this community and it's members vast knowledge of all things Bond to help me refine this very fortunate happenstance of nature ( though I must point out I am 3 yrs older than DC ).
Yes I do hope to foster a career of sorts but only part time, I would appreciate the support in the first instance to engage in further charity work effectively which I can only do by improving my impression of James Bond as he is currently imagined by the public. I have posted on my Twitter bio that I will and have accept charity requests pro bono.

Thank you for you time in reading this, I sincerely hope to hear from you.

    James Bond 008

    aka Michael

Yes, I thought that you were the one from India by your post in my blog thread. I bill try and write up my thoughts on Octopussy sooner rather than later with you in mind, dear reader.

Hello everyone! I love spy movies that's why I'm here. My favorite Bond film is Casino Royale ,and don't hate me for that because I'm a young 007 fan from the Philippines.
  • Hello all !!!! I love the Bond films, and am also reading the stories by Ian Fleming. Roger Moore is my favourite Bond, but they are all great ! My favourite 007 film is Skyfall, closely followed by LALD, which was my first Bond film. Long Live 007 !

It's funny, the number of people whose first Bond film was LALD. I know Craig and Mendes both saw LALD first but the number of fans whove said that is astounding. I think I've seen more people cite LALD as their first than have cited GE. Regardless, welcome aboard!

Love the screen name "old" girl.

  • Welcome back @bitchcraft :-)
  • Hi everyone. I joined a couple of days ago to post a link to my bands Bond theme song medley in the Music discussion group, and have been made to feel really welcome by the people replying to me so thanks to everyone.

First Bond I remember seeing on TV was Goldfinger - I do remember using my grandads hat like a frisbee every time he visited for a while after that. First cinema Bond experience was Moonraker, which was also the first time my mum thought I was old enough to go by myself, and I've seen every one since then on the big screen.

Best Bond - Connery (although Craig has come in a close second). Best theme - Live & Let Die. Best film - changes all the time, probably Casino Royale at the moment, but I'll never be a huge fan of A View To A Kill.

    Thanks again for the welcome.

Hi Presto.... Welcome. I too love Live and Let Die. I always liked it but ever since I saw Paul McCartney perform it last year, it's jumped up in my rankings. The explosion part is so exciting.

My favourite part of AVTAK is this scene.

Warm welcome @Presto, I would loved to of watched Moonraker on the big screen, it may not be highly thought of here but for sheer spectacle and the nostalgia value I really enjoy it. I know what you mean about A View To A Kill, I really want to like it but it's just so disappointing, still it's far superior to Die Another Day, you haven't mentioned that one though...you do hate it right? ;)

Loved your favourite AVTAK scene @retrokitty!
