Below are my rankings from #23 (worst) to #1 (best). I compiled it today after a month and a half watching all the pictures on the Bond 50 Blu Ray set, along with Skyfall this week. Hope you enjoy:

Have had a 4 month hiatus from MI6 due to a hectic life but I'm back and reporting for duty. Where to start in reconnecting with this wonderful forum? A re-think of my Bond film rankings after getting the Bond Blu-Ray set for Christmas and watching them all including Skyfall

Skyfall fits very nicely into that middle group of films. With those films, you could put them in any order and I think I would be satisfied.

I can't believe I'm seeing Skyfall at the bottom of the list, even below DAD.

Btw, I've come to find it hard to decide if I should put CR or SF on the second place. They're both just so... mesmerizing for me...

Time to update my rankings after re-watching all the films. The numbers represent a score out of 10. I should note that I regard all the films ranked 1-20 as solid entries to the series that are worthy of the Bond title. The last three films are extremely disappointing efforts.

I have made radical changes to my list in the wake of my last full Bondathon, DN-SF, all 23 films in order and in glorious restored hi-def blu-ray.
Basically I've dropped a few of the less worthy Rog films lower and elevated both of the Dalts movies, and shown a little more Brozzer love, but not too much. I've even moved a couple of the Craig films out of the bottom three at the expense of DAD.
Nothing has changed with the top 11 though, and likely never will, especially not the top nine.The Connery films rule, followed by Laz and the two earliest Moore's. Spy and MR are always vulnerable though to being knocked down a peg, maybe even LALD and Gun too, if Craig can come up with a real entertaining, edgy, escapist Bond-sans-personal-issues, old-time adventure.

Note; I love all of the Bond films. I have a special "Bondian grade" to judge them. But, in "real life" they all get 10 out of 10. To a film they entertain me, royally. And isn't that what a film is meant to do?

@Perdogg: Not a Brosnan fan, I take it? It's a shock to see GoldenEye down so low! That might just be because it is my favorite Bond movie, hahaha! I'm used to seeing it at #1 for me, or at least top ten from other people's rankings!

I had no problem with Brosnan. I had problem with a lot of the material given him. I think had Richard Maibaum had been writing in the Brosnan era, things would have been different.

I give him credit for one thing though- at least he isn't trying to convince himself that NSNA or CR54 or CR67 are actually Bond films worthy of inclusion in his rankings.

Die Another Day can sometimes creep up the rankings, but OHMSS as the sole line of shame entry is really something.

I did a detailed one some years ago but not lately. Keep an eye on the Originals thread and when we've finished our revisits you'll get my full simple list. Some in the mid range are still flopping around at the moment.

As far as those in question, OHMSS is a top 10 for me and DAD is at #23 where it richly and deservedly belongs to be at :)
