Pick a Bond and Pick a flick

This thread can either be serious or for a laugh.
Basically pick each Bond and put him into any other film but not one of his own ,this can either be because you think the film would suit him or because it would be a nightmare scenario !!
NB: The Bond film will NOT be changed ,so you will be plonking your Bond into the film exactly the way it was made.

Here are mine :

1) Timothy Dalton Bond to be thrown into Moonraker.
This would be great simply to see the look on Tim Bond's face as he has to deal with all the farsical rubbish and double taking pigeons throughout the film, ending in space !!

2) Roger Moore Bond to be thrown into Quantum of Solace.
Once again it would be interesting to see if Roger Bond would be able to handle all the fisticuffs and jumping around while keeping a moody face - fighting to keep the eyebrow and smile in check.

3) Daniel Craig Bond to be thrown into Goldfinger.
How would Dan Bond be able to handle sitting around doing nothing for much of the film and playing golf, with hardly any action.Could he contain himself or would he have to kill someone quickly ?

4) Sean Connery Bond in The World is not Enough.
Sean Bond would have to cope with a dodgy shoulder, and try not to fall in love with Electra while looking lovingly into her eyes - no chance,he would be dying to slap her one.

5) Pierce Brosnan Bond in Licence to Kill.
Pierce Bond would have to look mean and moody and infiltrate Sanchez's organisation- can he keep it up for the whole film without hardly any gadgets and manage to look groovy behind a truck ?

6) George Lazenby Bond in Doctor No
George Bond would be trying hard to be a detective ala Sean Bond in this film but would end up 'gift wrapping' all the suspects who he thinks havent got very large earlobes, in frustration.

    1) Sean Connery in OHMSS
The great debate. Some say he would have been great, but considering how he felt about the Bond Franchise at the time, it's doubtful, although the script was fantastic. I like to think it would have been a masterpiece.

    2) George Lazenby in DAF
Again, taking the serious approach, DAF would have been a drastically different movie about revenge, Bond taking down Blofeld.

    3) Roger Moore in LTK
Somewhat seriously, I'd like to see how Roger would do in a serious flick. He was fine delivering serious moments in FYEO and MR, and parts of TSWLM, a full film would have been intriguing.

    4) Timothy Dalton in GE
Possibly the biggest missed opportunity in the Franchise's history, this no doubt would have taken GE's outstanding cast and script and given it a proper actor to portray Bond. GE may have been superior to TLD, who knows. Sure thing though, it would have been much better.

    5) Pierce Brosnan in OP
Going with the funny approach here, Brosnan's performances were abysmal and seeing him in a clown suit would have been proper as a critique for his performances as Bond.

    6) Daniel Craig in TLD
Daniel Craig to me is simply an adaptation of Dalton's Bond in today's world. Dalton was ahead of his time, the public didn't seem ready for such a serious approach, but they are now. TLD's outstanding story and solid cast would have been interesting with Craig as basis for comparison.

    1) Daniel Craig in MR
So he can lighten up for once !!

    2) Roger Moore in TB
Moore at his coolest... topping his MR self !! Moore would have been the coolest man on earth !!

    3) Roger Moore in FRWL
Moore would have been great in a more serious cold-war thriller... Using his TMWTGG self !!

@Luds do you mean Brosnan in OP, because of the clown suit?

Timothy Dalton in DAD, bad-lines and all. Now that WOULD be interesting ;)

I can't really see him embracing a character like Xenya Onatopp in GE though.

Humorous: Roger Moore in License to Kill
Could good ol' Roger go off the deep end and play the dark side? He had some darker moments in FYEO with Locque, TMWTGG with Andrea Anders and Lazar, and OP with General Orlov.

Serious: George Lazenby in Diamonds Are Forever
I enjoyed Connery in DAF, but perhaps Lazenby could have made it even better had he come back for a second. At least then he'd have a second chance and be tied with Timothy Dalton. However, I would have wanted him to stop after DAF, because only Roger Moore can be in LALD!

Pierce Brosnan in Octopussy I'd really like to see. I think he would do well here. Certainly better than in his films.

    George Lazenby in DAF
Provided they adjusted the script entirely to match the mood of OHMSS, DAF could have been a kind of QOS to OHMSS's CR (but then with a far better quality).

    Daniel Craig in DAD
I would have loved to see him versus Madonna, Halle and Toby. They would have so not survived the film.

Verity: "Can you do me up?"
Bond (shrugging): "If you scratch my balls."

    Jinx: "Wow, there's a mouthful."
    Bond: "You're an idiot."

    Gustav: "Time to face destiny!"
Bond (kicking Graves in the nuts): "Do I look like I give a damn?"

Miranda: "It was so good of you to bring your gun to bed with us."
Bond: "That's because you know what I can do with my little barrel."

That last one @Darth made my day

In regard to Dalton in DAD, here is my re-imagining of certain scenes.

    Kil: I'm Mr Kil

    Dalton's Bond: P**s off.

AT THE FENCING CLUB - MADONNA TURNS ROUND.

I see you handle your weapon well

    Dalton's Bond: P**s off

Q lab, John Cleese gives Bond an invisable car

Dalton's Bond: No, it's time I left (goes back into the street and drives out of the film).

Sean Connery in Casino Royale. But the setting would be in the 60's, before Dr. No.
    Otherwise the same movie.

Following Bain, I might also suggest Connery for that scene:

    Verity: "I'm verity."
    Bond: "I admire your courage."
Verity: "I see you handle your weapon well."
Bond: "My dear, what I do, I do for queen and country. You don't actually think this gives me any pleasure, do you?"
Verity: "What? Hey! You don't like me or something?"
Bond (turning away): "Err... I hear something. Could it be the front door bell?"
Verity (angry): "No! It most certainly could not. Am I going to have a problem with you, Bond? Because you're sounding like a cop to me!"
Bond: "And I'd say you're a 50-year-old swine, indifferently bland... with an overdose of botox.

Post boy: "The place needed redecorating anyway."
Bond (signing the forms): "Relax, I have a friend named Felix who can fix anything."

    Pierce Brosnan in LTK

Pam: You're going after Sanchez aren't you? Are you crazy?

Bond: In a word...yes! there's no point in LIVING if you can't feel ALIIVE so I'm going AFTER him. ;)

Moore)-I would put Moore in TB or any Connery Bond films for that matter(except YOLT or DAF, so he could be in a GOOD Bond film. Sorry for the low blow Moore fans, but my Bond must be cold and calculating. Moore is great besides. Oh crap! I can hear the mob outside my home as we speak!

Connery)-I would put Connery In TMWTGG for one sole reason. Instead of Bond chasing Nic Nac around at the end and trying to pull him out from under the couch and dodging bottles with a chair, Connery's Bond would take Nic Nac by the legs and swing him around like a mace and toss that annoying a@#$%^& across the room and let him fly into the bar, killing him instantly. He returns to Goodnight with a smile and "That was a SHORT bout." You all know that would go down.

Dalton)-Tim would be in QoS. The movie fits his angry moody Bond and he would actually have something to be angry about.

Lazenby)-I would put Lazenby in either TLD or LTK. I wouldn't want Captain Quitter to feel he needed to do more than two if he wanted, and it would finish Bond of for the 6 year hiatus.

Brosnan)- Brosnan would be in AVTAK. One simple reason. He wouldn't care how bad it was, he liked being the character. He and Walken would be a good pair to spout out banter.

Craig)-Finally I want to see Craig in FRWL. A true classic, and It would be great to see Craig's Bond get in a tussle with Grant, especially with his "fast" Kali infused fighting style.

Out of all those, I want to see either Craig or Connery in the roles I chose. Bye bye Nic Nac!
