And my 'shrine'. That new Daniel Craig is the best likeness I've ever seen, and probably my favorite piece out of the whole thing!

    Just look at that beauty!

The other day I handed over all my remaining Bond VHS tapes I brought in 1996 to a local charity shop (I was quite suprised to find a place that still accepted them). I thought that, as I have all of them on DVD and about 8 on Blu-Ray, the time had come to move on. They would just be sitting there gathering dust otherwise.

It's a sign of how VHS is now regarded when even charity shops (well, some of 'em) don't want them. I saw a big basket of tapes outside a charity shop a few months ago being sold at the rate of 10 for £1. Doubtless DVD's will one day suffer the same ignominious fate.

Apparently vids are still quite popular with older people...well at least in the place I was.
  • Hi, what a stunning dol, what is the brand?
    how big is it?
and where, for how much is this doll available?
    sorry for so many questions,..

Back in the day (30+ years ago!) I recall reading, re-reading and re-re-reading these fanzines at least a thousand times apiece...

I remember having these as a kid. Sadly, they were thrown out many years ago. Did anybody else ever send off for these?

Being more of a 'Walkers' than a 'Smiths' guy I never knew of these. Nice items.

Here's something that I always enjoyed collecting but that has (presumably) been consigned to the history books: the pressbook/campaign book - in this instance for MR, which came in a card folder...

I've been sorting through some of my Bond collection tonight so I thought I'd put up a few pictures I took of it. This probably represents about two thirds of my entire Bond hoard. Some of these are from a time when I would literally cut stuff out of magazines because it had the 007 logo on it.

Been meaning to post some pictures here for awhile. Really just getting started with my collection. Planning on getting all the Corgi cars I can along with random things that come along the way.

    Enjoy!

My amazing girlfriend painted this for me. She know's me! haha. I am thankful to say I turned her into a Bond fan!

A handful of 007 hardbacks. Doubt if any of them are rare. And condition isn't great. Picked them up for pennies on market stalls back in the 70's.

5 rather nice German TSWLM lobby cards. But how many should there be? Presumably there should be at least 8 (if not more) in the set.

That set consists of at least 30 or 40 cards , no joke.......

The worst are the 1st issue 60s ones esp the 3 first , you can find perhaps a quarter of the cards....but whole sets , you can almost forget it !

OHMSS is another german set that's hell to find complete.......

I think TSWLM was a special case.....by then they'd cut down on the number of cards (from 30-40 to 16 or 18 cards.....they also stopped printing them on cardboard stock)

Not all films had 40 cards back then though , for example Eastwoods FAF$M had only 21 , these were not cardboard stock either. No rule w/o exception etc.......

...my Bond collection is absolutely abysmal compared to the size of the ones I've seen here. Great work, everyone.
