There, I have just uploaded the new Upcoming Papers List for The Bondologist Blog. I've sought to weed out a few of what I felt were the lesser article titles and ideas and have hopefully replaced them with something better. Let me know what you think of these changes that make up the 80 articles either via this thread or on the same page on the blog itself, or both if you're keen!

    Thanking you,

    --Dragonpol.

I'm always very open to hearing thoughts on this new list of titles which I've (hopefully) improved. I hope to get some long awaited new content posted soon on The Bondologist Blog and I'd be more than glad to hear from anyone who is interested in these titles either via this thread or on the blog comment box itself.

Thanks so much for all of your continued support.

Any interest in this list of titles?

I hope to get some of this new content uploaded next week.

As always, it'd be really great to hear from you!
  • I'd be happy for any new content, really. I've been seeing these listed as "coming soon" forever. I suppose the longer wait, the greater the payoff.

Yes, I have a new one on the way; the title is posted below. I'm sorry for the delay in getting new stuff out but I hope and trust that the wait will be worth it!

    137. The Literary Source for the Henchman Return Endings in Guy Hamilton’s and Tom Mankiewicz's James Bond Films?"

There. I've just updated the list to include 140 papers in total. 139 are still on their way. I think that I have covered every conceivable angle of Bondian interest in a fresh way that I can. That is my mission. The Moonraker film article quoted above will be appearing on The Bondologist Blog as my comeback article so stay tuned to the blog for that article update. As always, I'd love to hear your feedback on the blog and the Upcoming Papers List too.

Am I correct in thinking there is just one article on the blog?

No. There is one article from the current list posted above on the blog:

    1. Kingsley Amis, Drax’s Gambit and the Reform of the Action Sequences in the James Bond Films [Posted: Tuesday 29 January 2013]

There are however, roughly twenty other articles posted on the blog if you look through the archives for 2012 (this can be found on the right-hand side of the blog page), when the blog was set up. these were of articles I had written on CBn and felixleiter.com and other places between 2005 and 2012. Please have a look through these pieces if you get the time, @RC7. I've just sent you a little PM with the links.

You can view some of this list at the links below:

There, I have just finalised my Upcoming Papers List to 166 articles on my The Bondologist Blog. Feedback, questions and constructive criticism on the blog and its Upcoming Papers List is, as always, most welcome. I hope to upload 137. The Literary Source for the Henchman Return Endings in Guy Hamilton’s and Tom Mankiewicz's James Bond Films? very soon as my "comeback article"!

NB: Please be advised that this is all still a work in progress. I thank you for your patience and kindness, fellow community members.

Well hold your shots and call your off your bets, @oo7. They say patience is a virtue and your saint-like patience will be rewarded. There will be a new article uploaded this very week entitled "137. The Literary Source for the Henchman Return Endings in Guy Hamilton’s and Tom Mankiewicz's James Bond Films?"

I'm afraid I don't understand your "beef" with me as a member, dear @oo7 and especially with my blog. OK, I get that things have been delayed (I had to revise titles and weed out that which I was uninterested in as topics) but I have promised to deliver by the end of this week as I finally have some time off work. Posting images like the one above is irrelevant to me and my blog. If you want to know more, then please PM me.

there is no beef with you at all, i am merely making fun of these figures, which are out a whole 33 years late? i think i must start a new thread on the subject. lets go talk bionics there.

Oh, I see. Don't know too much on that subject matter, sadly.

not at the minute, ive been catching up on old shows and books like the pdf above, i barely read this site at the minute. there is no news out for the time being. I DONT KNOW WHY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN PUBLISHING YOUR STUFF WHILE NOTHING HAS BEEN HAPPENING THIS IS THE TIME TO FILL THE VOID. if you try to publish this while news about a film/game/soundtrack oscar or casting stuff you will get no attention.

Yes, I appreciate that. I'm working on some stuff that should see the light of day soon.

No, I'll not do that, but I will get something out soon. On my word of honour. It's on Guy Hamilton's Bond film tagged-on endings.

I've just upped the number of Upcoming Papers to 210 as there are simply so many topics of obscure Bondology I want to trouch on with my blog project. There will be a new article called "137. The Literary Sources for the Henchman Return Endings in Tom Mankiewicz's and Guy Hamilton's James Bond Films?". I hope that it gets the good responses the other ones did. It's going to be a long-overdue comeback paper and some much needed new content for the blog. I'm open to comments, criticism and general views.
  • I hate to say it @Dragonpol, but it's been over a week and there doesn't seem to be any new article on the blog. I suppose if they released GoldenEye and Casino Royale there's hope still.

I'm in the process of writing the piece after taking extensive notes. It should be up before the year's end. It hasn't been a particularly prolific year for me when it has come to writing material, but in 2014 that will all change. Thanks for your comment, and yes I hope there is content as good as GoldenEye, Casino Royale and maybe even Skyfall still to come. I certainly have some new things to say regarding James Bond and I aim to deliver in 2014.
