Hi all I came up with this fun game when me and my friends were talking about James Bond and Christmas, my favourite too things of the year! Christmas is always a great time around my house, a real celebration, and lots, and lots (!) of turkey.

Anyway here is the idea: you convert a James Bond movie title to have a Christmas flavor, Here are some of the ones I cam up with:

1) GoldenPie (GoldenEye)

2) Quantum of Winter Solstice (Quantum of Solace)

3) Thunderbells (Thunderball)

4) Dine Another Day while fasting (Die Another Day)

5) Dr. Ho Ho Ho (Dr. No)

6) Miraclemaker (Moon raker)

If you have any more ideas PM them to me so I I can add them to the list .

MI6 days til christmas you could say! Chestnut Royale, haha! Good work guys. Maybe a dumb question but since your avatar looks photoshopped to me, or maybe a CGi creation like The Polar Express or Beowolf (I sense a bit of cheeky deception here)- are you the real Mel Gibson? Just an off feeling I get. You are funloving like he is, I get the same air of pomp and funloving nature.

Thank you Bradford...I volunteer at the local youth hangout - the Max - where this Christmas I will be putting on a promotion for charity ( I also run a number of charities - Xmas is a very busy time of year for us).

This year I'm putting my puppetering expertise (gift) to good use for the local kids by putting on a show for charity

Ok this on'e's just for charity! Here are some promo snapshots slapped together for the event. The kids get to see these friendly monsters in action.

Sorry for veering off topic but I must, being such a fan of the art of puppetry. so, Hi Mel, those puppets look so authentic, are you connected with Jim Henson in any way? Would you consider reading a script I've written, its a family kids movie. Certainly not BOND but its friendly, PG fare. I'll PMyou.

Does anyone need any puppeteering done at their XMas parties? WOrk, its thin at the minute and I could use the cash. Performing just for charity has its drawbacks...

Wish I could help, but I am here in Japan. :D

Your puppets do look great in the pics, I must say.
Hope you have a lovely Christmas, MadMel.

Thanks mate. Put a lot of blood, sweat and fears into making them up. Things bloody fall apart at the drop of a hat though no matter how long you spend kitting them up, you need to be careful. And there's a lot of struggle financially in the industry right now. There's just no demand. The credit crunch has come down on the puppeterring industry, just it's not reported by the "lamestream" left wing media.

Maybe unless I move to USA and audition for Seseme Street haha.

Are you connected to Jim Henson productions, I have asked and not recieved an answer. And who is the charming puppet on the right with the mustache? Looks a bit like the bald old man Xena kills with her luscious thighs in GOLDENEYE!

How about making some Bond quotes Christmasy?

    "The name's Kringle. Kris Kringle."

"I might as well ask you if all those nutmeg martinis ever silence the screams of all the presents you've wrapped... or if you find forgiveness in the arms of all those willing elves for all the ones you failed to deliver."

[Santa is told by his lead elf that he is required to drive another sleight model after his current one proved defective]

Santa: "I disagree, sir. I've flown that sleigh for ten years, and I've never had issues with it."

Head elf: "No, but it malfunctioned last Christmas, and you spent six months in hospital in consequence. When you carry that sack of presents upon your back, you have a license to deliver them to all the children in the world. Furthermore, since I've been head of Christmas preparations there's been a forty percent drop in failed deliveries, and I want to keep it that way. From now on you fly in the new sleigh model... unless you'd rather return to standard present wrapping duties."

Santa: "No sir, I would not."

Mrs. Claus: "Can I do anything for you, honey?"

Santa: "Uh, just a drink. Nutmeg, jingled, not rattled."

    OR

Mrs. Claus: "Can I do anything for you, honey?"
