Maybe after the first mission you can pick if u want to be the villan or bond.
I want Bond to be able to interact with every non-player character to gain information, sweep his hotel room for bugs, eat expensive food to replenish his energy levels and have a girl tag along with him now and then like in GE64. Basically everything Bond does in the films, I want to control in the game.
Love the poker game ideas- that's one thing I liked about JB007 for gameboy- you could play baccarat, blackjack and red dog in the casino.
Both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace were featured in the Quantum of Solace game. Not so sure they would completely revisit those movies quite yet
I didn't say anything about revisiting them. Just the idea of building on the Quantum organisation as the basis for a game.
Exactly. It would be an opportunity to flesh out the Craig universe, while delivering completely original content.
Agreed, although I don't think Agent Under Fire did a great job with this. I thought that not only was the story poor (I thought the cloning was stupid and pretty much every character was underused), but it also wasn't very cinematic.
There was no gunbarrel, no theme song and hardly any proper cut scenes. The story mostly moved along based on briefings from M at the start of every single level (I'm sure I remember being captured at the end of one level and still getting a briefing from M at the beginning of the next, despite the level starting in prison). I'm not a huge fan of Agent Underfire.
I agree on the other two though. I think Everything or Nothing is still the most cinematic Bond game. But even though it had a great cast and it's presentation was very cinematic, it was still a bit too gamey imo. The story was very OTT and didn't really play out like a film would (would Bond really enter a rally car race in a movie for example?).
Nightfire nailed it. I actually feel like I'm playing through a brand new Bond film. The story is OTT but I like it. It's fairly original, it keeps you interested and there are plenty of twists and great characters. If you moved the finale from space to Drake's island, I could actually see it working really well as a film. Plus you have cool new gadgets, loads of different routes through really well designed levels, good driving bits and great multiplayer. By far the best Bond game imo.
Nightfire. Perfect Bond game. If only someone could remake GoldenEye 64 on that game engine.
Everything or Nothing. Great Bond game even though it's mostly a shooting gallery. It was nice to have Pierce and Crew voice it.
Plus, if EA got it back, then we could have HD releases of their old games.
I think Rare should get the license to James Bond. Several will start saying that I'm suggesting this because of GoldenEye, but that's completely untrue. I personally am a fan of Rare LTD. because of several games of theirs, such as Banjo-Kazooie and Perfect Dark.
Perfect Dark especially, I consider it the best FPS ever made (of course that's just my opinion), and that's how a James Bond videogame should be, not a Call of Duty clone.
Rare today isn't what it used to be. Most of the old staff is gone and they now just make games for the Kinect sadly.
Yeah I know that. But there's still a bunch of good people there, and they recently expressed their interest in doing something about their old IPs, such as Banjo and Viva Pinata. I want to give them a chance.
Should Nintendo buy them back, That will be a glorious day in the name of Gaming.
I said Nintendo should buy Rare back, not make the Next Bond game. 8-|
Will MGM go back to EA games I really hope .. Ubisoft could be but they were also preparing for bond back on 1999 why MGM didn't make a deal with them !! I also don't see Sony or Microsoft to take the bond license because they will be doing exclusive games which no one wants for a bond game .. Tellate; I hope not , Eidos Interactive ; Perfect to me ( Tomb Raider ,Hitman,Thief,Batman) , Rockstar Games : The dream for all bond fans .. Those are the choices .. Any more ?!
What Batman game did Eidos make?
Eidos Interactive was a publisher of Arkham Asylum along with WB Interactive Entertainment.
The WiiU doesn't require motion controls.
Glad to hear that, thanks ;)
Neither did the Wii really, I always use the Classic Controller Pro for Goldeneye.
