    I have thought an idea about the plot for Bond 24 or Bond 25.

    According to the epilogue from Skyfall, James Bond receives a confidential mission from the new M (Gareth Mallory played by Ralph Fiennes). This mission might be the prologue for Bond 24; 007 has an extensive action scene somewhere of the Middle East, the Balkans or countries close to Arabian Sea. The scene ends with Bond being kidnapped by terrorists, who try to wash his brain (censored by the opening credits) to assassinate M, once he returns to London. Bond hesitates in his attempt of assassinating M in his office, but he shows his intention to M, who puts Bond in custody, while they investigate a way of treating him (without knowing who was the person responsible of his brainwashing).

    At this point, the beginning of the movie would be similar to the novel called The Man with the Golden Gun.

    Nevertheless, Bond manages to escape of the escort, which was watching him, and meets with a naive / rookie agent (Bond Girl), who received a infiltration / spy mission, which would end close to the place where 007 was brainwashed. At the same time, Bond has and leaves tracks / clues, which will be useful for the rookie's mission. The MI6 finds out about the Bond's escape and presumes that 007 kidnapped the rookie.

    The plot and character development can grow from how the rookie is turning into an expert agent while follows the attitude, the maneuvers, the ideals and the actions from James Bond (who doesn't know if he guides the rookie in a good or bad way), like if he was acting by means of a "good" instinct while he teaches the rookie how must be a professional. Both would stay inseparable until the end of the mission. Nevertheless, the rookie would have certain suspicion on Bond knowing about his brainwashing and being afraid about 007 led her to her death.

    Moneypenny would be confused by the attitude that Bond has adopted from his attempt of assassinating M. On the other hand, Q still feels admiration and confidence in 007, who persuades him at the same time, and uses his skills with the computer to provide support for Bond and the rookie, without M noticing it.

    The villain would be the person who arranged the brainwashing on Bond and the rookie would be the one who kills him in the end saving 007 (while Bond was about to get killed by the villain during a hand-to-hand fight). The villain's scheme would be assassinating M in order to send one of his agents disguised and brainwashed as the possible Mallory's successor and control the British secret intelligence in favor of the terrorists. Technically, the villain's scheme would be failing from the very beginning of the movie (something unusual in a 007 film), when Bond hesitates in his attempt of assassinating M and Bond along with the rookie sends information to the MI6 (somehow) about the disguised agent from the terrorists, before to arrive to the villain's hideout.

    At the end, M congratulates the rookie for the information gained from her mission and gives her a new status as 00 agent. 007 is treated completely and M gives him a welcome to MI6 with feelings of appreciation and disdain, leaving Bond in suspense about his future and his reputation as secret agent in MI6.

    For the first time, we would have another agent 00, who would be a James Bond's ally and not only another agent 00 who we would see briefly up to his death.

    The development of the plot (the second act) with regard to the relation between 007 and an ally, who would turn into a new agent 00, would be inspired from the novel called Devil May Care written by Sebastian Faulks.

    It wouldn't be bad that the epilogue was similar to the Moonraker novel, if you know what I mean, since the epilogues Daniel Craig 007 films don't look alike so much to the epilogues from the other films in the series. This offers the opportunity to experience another not traditional James Bond epilogue. In general, the rookie would thank Bond for helping him during his mission, when the MI6 didn't give him enough support.

    The epilogue concludes with the Gunbarrel Sequence.

    What do you think?

    This might be the darkest 007 story, but at the same time it would develop James Bond even to the point of turning him into a more human and more complex character, not for knowing more details about his past (childhood) (which would be much a cliché), but for how another agent values him to complete his first dangerous mission. In this way, we'll see a good contrast between the 007 beginner from the prologue in Casino Royale (2006) with the 007 veteran of the final scene of the Bond 24 that I propose (character development).

    I INSIST... If someone meets Michael G. Wilson or Barbara Broccoli, it would be great that someone tells them this idea so that they should consider it in the future.

    Serious, bone crunching creative fights. I can't stress this enough. It should go without saying but SF really dropped the ball here BIG TIME!

    I mean seriously this is what we can get on TV these das, TV!



    There's another fight between Hannibal and Tobias which was again a fight scene that make you wonder wtf are the stunt/choreography team doing on the Bond set.

    There are more things I'll add later but for now I'll lastly submit Mike Oldfield as the to tackle the theme song. His song, Nuclear which was used for the soon to be released Metal Gear Solid 5 sounds so Bondian in an organic way that doesn't set out to be Bondian and as luck would have it; some lovely chap put the music to the SF title sequence.

    As mentioned...the gun barrel opening. Also, a return to traditional M and 007 office mission outline.
    I like Daniel Craig very much-LOVED the opening scene with Craig in Skyfall (the light on his eyes!) Fancy, creative camera work is a must.

    I think, if anything, Bond 24 needs to have no tributes or nods to the previous films. Those types of things have become far too prevalent in the last four films. I think it's about time we have a Bond film that stands on its own two feet, tells its own story, and creates its own moments rather than having to have several callbacks to the previous films in the series.

    I agree. Homages and throwbacks need to be nixed. Just get in with telling a cracking story with thrilling action. Other than that homage to GF, even thoughbi've always liked QoS, I'm appreciating it more and more for being bold in it's decisions coming from a place of weakness (writer's strike).

    Agreed, although if they do a callback, I'd prefer it not be the obvious film or two (DN or GF). Give me something else.

    Putting the GF reference aside, one of the reasons I liked QoS is that it felt a bit fresh - and relatively unencumbered by the past. For me SF was a step back in that sense and a bit of an introspective nostalgia fest.

    I myself don't need the callbacks either. DAD turned those into a joke anyway. But I can imagine many folks taking a liking to the references. Still, enough already. OHMSS did it for a reason and did it well. DAD... no. As for QOS, yeah I'm not sure it worked for me but it was just one little thing and easily overlooked if so desired. SF didn't annoy me. The AM was fully loaded in GF style but I like what they did with it. And yet I don't. I can't shake the feeling that it didn't have to be the familiar car with the familiar tricks. It could have been its own thing. Maybe it should have been.

    Couldn't agree more.

    Even though Quantum of Solace could have benefited from some more work being done on the script, I still think it stands out as one of the very best of the Bond films. I think Craig sells himself short when he laments the work that he and Forster did on the script while they were filming, as I think that they did a fine job with it.

    Nah, I've never had an issue with the QOS script. Sure, the marked money bills --> Slate --> Camille --> Greene plot is pretty thin IMO, but QOS' aggressive editing leaves little time to contemplate these things. ;-)

    Also, I think QOS has one of the very best epilogues of the Bonds, even if it is a Bourne scene. ;-)

    I've never had much issue with it either, but I do think that perhaps a final polish couldn't have hurt matters. I'd certainly be interested to see some form of the script that has some explanation for the Fields/Elvis tripping incident that happens at the Greene Planet party, for example.

    Yeah, QoS could and deserved to be better and I'm convinced it would have been if it wasn't for the writer's strike. However, as it is, I think it's a very good Bond film that does exactly what every Bond film should do, getting on with things! As a sequel to CR it manages to get in with telling it's own story no matter how thin but it doesn't allow itself to be carried by the influence of overt homages sans Fields aping Masterson's death.

    Elvis was on his way to prevent Camille from leaving with Bond, so Fields tripped him. At least that is what I got out of it.

    I would really like to see a tip of the hat to LALD by having Bond visited in the early hours at home by Mallory & Moneypenny. This, whilst a foreign beauty trys to remain undiscovered. And definitely want more Q as the gallery scene in Skyfall was classic.

    Um, I don't really see that sort of silliness of Bond trying to hide a woman he's being intimate with in the manner that you suggest working in a Craig Bond movie, heck I don't see it really working in today's age of Bond movies.

    Really, I wish that some humor would be nice, also stop killing the women, write a story with no holes in it...and I agree...bring back a Vanquish Aston Martin...and another thing...stay out of Turkey this time, enough's enough.

    That's the most important thing out of any possible suggestions that could be made. Bond 24 needs to have a solid story, and one that doesn't feature a villainous scheme that relies on the amount of coincidence and precognition that Silva's did.

    -Q can give Bond a rebuilt DB5 and a new Aston Martin with extras, Q thought Bond would like them. They were interesting projects. Q may just give some more gadgets, updated of course.

    I want the villain to have a base or lair someplace snowy. I want to see Bond infiltrate said base like in Goldfinger.

    I want Quantum to return and to be a very sinister threat but without overt baggage of bringing up Vesper.

    Gritty, visceral fisticuffs. I want the fight scenes of Bond 24 to make the fights in CR and QoS look like pillow fights.

    James Bond to be called James by Moneypenny and to be called 007 by the rest if his colleagues.

    Snow action of some sort.

    Luxurious and glamorous locations and interiors.

    Aeroplane takeoff or landing indicating Bond's arrival/departure of at least one location

    A physically imposing henchman that can give Bond a very serious fight.

    The Bond babe to survive and for Craig to get his long overdue obligatory love/romantic ending.

    Bullit-esque car chase

    A new and awesome badass rendition of the Bond theme.

    Bond to use more stealth tactics to takeout bad guys

    A sense of gripping tension and atmosphere

    I want Bond 24 to feel like a hybrid of FRWL, OHMSS, GE and CR.

    Craig to have more hair than he did in SF.

    No imposing personal themes. Bond had a job to do, let him do it without the plague of back-stabbing, double crossing colleagues.

    An Austrian castle as the villain's lair, featured extensively. If the rumours are true about Austria, it is actually a wish that may be granted. And for the record, I had it since a long while ago.
