Er, @DoctorKaufmann you do realise Daniel Passarella captained Argentina to the 1978 World Cup?

President of Gabon - Ali Bongo! You've got to be winding me up! :))

Vlad sat right next to Sepp you note. Just two blokes of integrity enjoying the match.

Disappointed in DC eating prawn sarnies with filth like Blatter. Thought he was a proper football fan. Disgraceful Dan.

What a point blank header off of the goal post to close the first half!

Germany had better maintain their composure. Too many silly yellow cards already.

Well here it is the World cup final! Overall been a great World cup, so far good final. Hard to call as things stand. Fancy Argentina to nick it.

Have to say even though it is 0-0, what an excellent first half of football!

Really good game so far, despite no goals.
  • England have been invisible for most of this game....shame

Where's Lionel gone? Come on son - time to justify the hype. Love him or loathe him, Maradona never went AWOL.

And did my eyes deceive me or did I see Brooklyn Beckham wearing an Argentina shirt? Oh David, what are you doing?!

You did. Ex-England captain letting his kid do that? Should on a charge of treason in my book.

Presumably, it's got "Simeone" on the back of it...

Also, Diego Maradona won't be present due to the huge line he encountered at his hotel.

    That was genius, Kerim !

If it's Simeone through the back of it is more likely.

The commentator on the BBC said "Germany have a big following in Brazil".

Yes, many of their grandfathers emigrated there in 1945...

If it should now go to penalties? My money is on Germany! Have to say it has been a fantastic final, and that is saying something seeing as it still remains goaless!

No need for comments like that. I would've thought you'd learned your lesson by now.
Your insults to members of this forum have gone on long enough.

Saw David Beckham's sons wearing Argentina shirts, obviously they need to do a history lesson on Modern British History.
