Your Favourite Femme Fatale

Throughout the 23 films, Bond has encountered many women who have both seduced and tried to kill Bond. But which is your favourite? Feel free to rank them, too. Apologies if this is a duplicate thread.

My favourite, if wasn't obvious enough, is the exotic Mayday. Wacky, butch and inspired casting in Grace Jones, She is perhaps one of the most colourful characters to have braced the Bond series.

Honourable mentions: Fiona Volpe, Xenia Onatopp and Elektra King.

  • Sorry, but I will have to say Miranda Frost. The one and only good thing in DAD...

    Miranda Frost! :)
And I also like Xenia and Elektra... Broz just had the best femme fatales! ;)

I do kinda like Rosamund Pike as Miranda Frost. She's my favourite. Honorable mention to Sophie Marceau as Elektra King. As the Craig era is known for dead, good Bond girls, the Broz era is known for it's all-star femme fatale casting, who also end up dead, but they are enemy operatives.
Paluzzi though has iconic status as the first really fleshed out femme fatale.

List of Bond femme fatales, a topic near and dear to my heart. :x
Both major and minor. I left out Mei-Lei (Pussy's air hostess underling on GF's plane) as she did not exhibit villianous intent. Same thing with Sister Lily and Sister Rose from DN's hospitality team.

This list would make another enjoyable Bond girl elimination game.

    Zena Marshall at Taro, DN
    Marguerite LeWars as DN's photographer
Nadja Regin as Bonita, GF pts
Luciana Paluzzi as Fiona Volpe, TB
Karin Dor as Helga Brandt in YOLT
Lola Larson as Bambi in DAF
Trina Parks as Thumper in DAF
Gloria Hendry as Rosie Carver in LALD
Sue Vanner as Log Cabin Girl in TSWLM
Caroline Munro as Naiomi in TSWLM
Leila Shenna as Private Jet Hostess, MR pts
Irka Bochenko as Blonde Beauty in MR
Anne Lonneberg as Drax's Museum guide in MR
    Drax's other girls in MR
Grace Jones as May Day, AVTAK
Alison Doody as Jenny Flex in AVTAK
Papillon Soo as Pan Ho in AVTAK
Famke Janssen as Xenia Onatopp in GE
Maria Grazia Cucinotta as Cigar Girl in TWINE
Sophie Marceau as Elektra King in TWINE
Rosamund Pike as Miranda Frost in DAD
Ivana Milicevic as Ivanka in CR

Fiona, then Xenia. Everyone else except May Day can battle for third.

To a young lad at the time, Caroline Munro's Naiomi made quite an impression!! I did think of the unconventional Grace Jones when I first read the opening sentence for this thread but likely only because I really like her Slave to the Rhythm 80's track.

My favorites are: Fiona, Xenia and Naomi, in that order.

This is tough. I'll probably go with Fiona, with May Day a very close second, and Naomi, Miranda, and Miss Taro following closely behind.

I'm surprised quite a few people like Mayday, especially after she violated poor Rog in that bed.

Fiona and Xenia stand above them all for me. I can't decide which I prefer. I'll abide to my username and go with Xenia though. By a hair. Honestly those two ladies are probably in my top 5 favorite hench-people alongside Grant and Jaws. I love femme fatales.

I like Miranda Frost and May Day a lot as well.
  • Fiona and Xenia, certainly...and Naomi, by all means... but let's have a little appreciation here for Bambi & Thumper, too! And hey, what about Fatima Blush? Is it her fault that NSNA isn't really a match for the films produced by Eon? No, not at all!...She's one of the most enjoyable facets to this flick if you ask me! So let's share the love for Fatima Blush while we're at it...

You're right. Move every one a place down, and Jenny stands above them all.

I also agree with this statement - the original and the best!

I am changing my vote to Fiona Volpe as #1.
As much as I like Pike as Miranda Frost, its hard to top the original.

re list posted above. I am thinking Mei Lei and Sisters Lily and Rose should be included after all. They may not have exhibited villainous intent. They are certainly not in the same league as Onatopp, Frost or Volpe...but they are all complicit, in less than savoury activity.
They don't have epiphanies that we are aware of.
Mei Lei was spying on Bond on behalf of her master, Goldfinger, via supervisor Pussy.
Not exactly above board behaviour, that.
And the good sisters, were complicit in drugging Bond and Honey's coffee. They are guilty of working with the Doctor, to render "guests" unconcious against their will.
Bad girls, this pair, even if they were quite charming about it.
I think all three qualify as fatales. These women were corrupted.

I'm all for Frosty. I can't take my eyes off her when watching DAD. And it's good that she's in DAD. She helps the film tremendously with her presence. ;-)
