Worst death for a woman in Bond's world

We talked about Bond's best kill and we've seen some gruesome deaths (especially in LTK) but of the women who had the worst death? I'm not a mysoginist but the Bond movies have always been pretty creative but how have they handled deaths of women. List your top three and this includes sacrificial lambs, Good Girls, and bad girls as well.
1. Helga in YOLT to be eaten alive by little fish...
2. Corinne in MR cruel to do that to a lovely woman...
3. Plenty (DAF) Vesper (CR) tie I would say that drowning is a bad way to go.

Paula in TB commited suicide after being tortured by that sadistic bastard Vargas
Jill Masterson would have had it bad too...

Some deaths are not so bad, Tracy probably never felt a thing or knew what hit her. At least it was merciful for Mrs Bond not so much for many others

Plenty got thrown out of the hotel into a pool, but drowned later on in DAF in a separate pool. Poor girl and water didn't mix.

Onatopp got it the worst. Getting crushed to death because a crashing helicopter is pulling you through a tree. I think she would have wanted to go that way because, "She always did like a good squeeze."

I think Brandt's becoming fish food for Blofeld's piranhas takes the top prize. I remember how shocked I was by it as a kid.

Elektra King - shot by Pierce Brosnan in a fit of acting.

Plenty was drowned in the pool by Kidd and Wint. some key scenes ended up on the cutting room floor thus the confusion as to her death.

Helga in YOLT; that was horrible!
Corrine in MR; disgusting and excruciating
Vesper (film version) and S. Fields - one drowned in oil, one in water; I think drowning would be so terrifying and awful

And special mention: Jill Masterson; ok, not torture or horrible; but most annoying!! I was so annoyed at her stupidity and senseless way she was killed. (I'm with James Bond, there's a manic running loose killing people, oh I think I'll just run away from James now; yeah that's smart ...)

Don't you mean Tilly Masterson? Anyway here's mine:

Helga Brandt- most probably the worst way to die.

Corinne- not far behind. I woulda climbed up a tree for the night.

Aki- seems like a painful way to go, especially if it's not a quick death.

It's anyone's guess how much Solange was tortured in CR.
  • And the award for Most Morbid MI6 Topic goes to...

I'll add the secretary at the very start of Dr No and the Countess/Duchess from For Your Eyes Only.

Yeah, I would have to go with poor Fields being drowned in oil. That was very disturbing.

    Another Kerim Top 10:

    1. Della: Did not enjoy her honeymoooooooon.
    2. Solange: I really don't want to know what happened to her.
    3. Helga: Suddenly didn't like the idea of a fish frenzy.
    4. Jill: Someone took the meaning of her being the golden girl the wrong way.
    5. May Day: Gosh dang it, I forgot to jump.
    6. Xenia: Not so funny to be crushed is it?
    7. Jenny: Why didn't the boss just lay everyone off
    8. Plenty: If you're going to wear cement shoes, make sure you don't have a nip slip.
    9. Fields: A message to all women. Don't ask to be lubed.
    10. Miranda: To be killed by Halle Berry is just shameful.

I will nominate M for this one for sure.
  • That's a good enough choice, but it was her own stupidity by standing too close to the windows when the shoot-out was underway that caused her own demise. Why didn't she go down the tunnel and out of harms way and let Bond (or even with Kincaide) do the shooting or fighting back, instead of just remaining on the scene and being open to harm. But that's merely how I viewed it. Maybe I'm just too tired now for rational thinking..

Two against a dozen plus is even more unfair of a fight. They needed all the help they could get, especially with little to no weaponry besides a few magazines and booby traps.
  • I've just been handed a very good reason for calling it a night - and I 'thank them' for that favor, but I realize when they (Bond) arrived, that the weaponry had been sold on, and they were at a minimum to fight back, but there really wasn't a lot that Dench could do, given the circumstances. She'd be an absolute novice with a firearm and it would of made more sense to just get her out of harms way. Or if not that, why not keep as low to the ground as possible when the attacks were underway and with it, not risk any possible injury ? That's only my assessment of the situation, right or wrong however

    Goodnight

But M did rack up a body count of at least three of Silva's men, maybe more.
  • I'd say either Della or Helga. Being raped then killed not long after your wedding or being eaten alive by piranha's are both terrible ways to go.

Della is another horrible one. I get chills every time I hear Dario howl "HONEYMOOOOOOON!".
