Not bad, not bad at all! That would make a fantastic part of a stunt show reel.

  • Thank you for the kind comments. Really appreciate it!!

It's the first project I directed so was a bit nervous how it would be received. (especially with an Asian Bond).

The choreography was done by the lead, Jean-Paul Ly while I filmed and edited.

Doing martial arts on film is very difficult because the non-flashy real stuff is incredibly difficult to photograph dramatically, and the flashy stuff that looks cool seldom seems to have the weight of impact necessary for the damage depicted.
You found a fairly nice blend as well as nicely believable impacts.
I'd give this ***1/2* of five, and that means pretty damn good.
  • Thank you for the review, Sir...and yes like you said, good film action is hard to do as you need good stunt guys to sell both the hits and falls, as well as gd camera angles and editing. Was v pleased how it turned out, but always room for improvement.

Can't wait for Spectre! Do you guys think the Gun barrel will return to the beginning of the film?

My God, this was perfect! :O

A lot better than the action we've seen in the last two films.
  • Really, really well done. Loved that final kill at the end.
