Sadly not. I'd been trying to reach him as recently as a week ago but there was no answer or even answering message. I kind of knew this terrible news would happen given his advanced years. Very sad.
I contacted John Pearson shortly before Christmas 2015 but he seemed reluctant to talk very much about James Bond as he'd been asked about it a lot over the years and it was all so long ago etc. I didn't get very much out of him sadly but I hope to try again some time to see if I can catch him in a more interested mood.

Thanks. I did get his answerphone a few times but in more recent times this was missing when I phoned the number perhaps suggesting he was in hospital or a home etc.
