2. The Firm
"I used to Caddie for young lawyers off from work on weekdays... and their wives. I'd look at those long tan legs and just knew I had to be a lawyer. The wives had long tan legs, too."
3. No Way Out (so good here that he actually reprised the role some years later with a twist in "Absolute Power", another one of my favourites).

@MajorDSmythe I don't see Royal Tennenbaums in your list.
You HAVE to watch the French Connection, make some time, you won't regret it.
That'd be MY list too.
Superman: The Movie
Enemy of the State
Will Patton deserved a Best Supporting Actor nom for that; a shame he didn't get it.

One of his greatest performances. His 'cold turkey' scene is riveting and harrowing.
John Frankenheimar delivers a very different style to William Friedkins documentary approach, but its a splendid follow up with a thrilling foot chase finale that puts even Bourne to shame!
That final chase is just so gripping!
Great film that uses the 'stranger in a strange land' theme very well.
The film also makes great use of the Marseille locations.
The Bird Cage
Heartbreakers
French Connection 1
and French Connection 2 again
Ha Ha! Couldn't have put it better myself!
The Conversation (Don't flush the toilet)
No Way Out (Enemies closer to Home)
The last two, both in the Spy mould.
