Thanks for the pictures ! Before anyone ask, the helicopter is like an model of Harbin Z-9.

It looks like it. The registration number on the side is G-LCPL which leads to an Aerospatiale AS-365N-2 Dauphin 2, same family of the Harbin Z-9:helis.com/database/cn/27218/

Just got back from watching the filming. The helicopter action finished at midnight but they are still filming close ups of Daniel/Lea on the boat now which I watched with the crew from above. Filming ends at around 5am.

It was a very cold but dry evening in London but fire engines were on scene to wet the road before the take, giving the impression of rain. I also watched a scene on Vauxhall Bridge of
extras walking along the bridge and then all of a sudden there is a bang at the old Mi6 building and the startled pedestrians run to the edge of the bridge to look across.

Daniel really is the Bond in the rain.

Thanks for the info. Do you have any photos?

I took a few photos but not as good as what is circling. I recorded this video footage which everyone's favourite Brazilian fan has uploaded:

Now it is reminiscent of FRWL.

Another Daily Mail article today - Shoot Another Day! Daniel Craig wields his gun as he films high-action speed boat chase on the River Thames for eagerly anticipated James Bond blockbuster Spectre

Lots more photos in the article but here are a couple

Great shots. It annoys me that I’m in London all week and the only day when it would be difficult for me to get down would be a Sunday night.

Craig looks very cool and Lea’s look is very reminiscent of a 1960’s Bond girl.

One large observation; there seems to be a lot of handheld camera work on the film. I’m not just talking about these recent pictures but from a lot of what we’ve seen from the production so far. Mendes made a conscious decision to move away from the ‘shaky’ cam style of both Bourne and QOS with SF; instead choosing to shoot the film in a more traditional way. In fact, Mendes stated that there is only one scene in the film that a handheld camera is used, which is the sequence in M’s apartment after Bond has been missing for three months. Mendes’s intention being that the loose feel would make the meeting feel more intimate and also suggest to the audience that Bond and M are on rocky terrain and attempting to rebuild their relationship. It’s interesting to see that we may be seeing more use of the device throughout SP. If you look at some the videoblogs you can see the camera being used in sequences set inside M’s office, etc; which I find very interesting. Clearly there is going to be a clear divide from Deakins’s camerawork in SF and Hoytema’s this time out.

MI5? Don't they mean MI6? Was it their fact checkers evening off?

Technically they pass both buildings (the pale block with the trees in front in that first video above is MI5). But they probably don't know that and they also said SP is DC's 5th film and that a stuntman did most of the boat scenes which wasn't actually the case so sloppy journalism all round!

Is only around six months away. :D

Thinking about it, DAF has the villain Jack Spang be defeated in an helicopter. Inspiration for SP perhaps?

I'm a little worried that these action sequences aren't inventive enough, seeing as nearly every action scene in SPECTRE evokes shades of another Bond movie.

I'll answer this with your own motto: Keep calm and wait for Spectre!

With over 20 Bond films, as well as thousands of other action movies, nearly every action scene would be evocative of something that's come before it - trying to do something new without being too outlandish or stretching disbelief gets increasingly difficult the more films you produce.

These latest pictures on the Sky news site really ruined the plot of me.

Dan and Lea look like they are keeping each other spirits up. Hopefully that transfers to screen.

I'm not sure why this boat chase reminds everyone of FRWL. My thoughts go toward another boat chase on the Thames past parliament and MI6 HQ.

I have not read the leaked script this is my own thoughts and please nobody click reveal then post a comment saying this should be in the spoilers topic.
It shows Madeline is alligned to Bond and is with him in action at the tail end of the film for me rules out she will stab him in the back (with the prior rumour she is White's daughter). It shows Bond being back in london. We already known he is at start of the film. This a chase and not an escape. The boat we have seen from a shot released by production last week, it is in the chasim under MI6 on the river. . That tell's me something happens at the MI6 building leading to a chase between someone leaving by Helicopter and Bond taking a boat. But who is he shooting at? Bond appears to be shooting at another boat then the helicopter and for me it add's up to Denbigh exit from London after being unmasked. To me it points strongly that Andrew Scott is our Blofeld. White said they had people everywhere. Why not a high position man within Whitehall who has been manipulating the system for years from the inside. Then there is that term peeling back the layers of deceit. Denbigh was the one who ensured Vesper would be the money in Casino that was his men in Venice their to collect the funds, Denbigh also has control over minister such as Guy Haines, a political puppet master if you will.
