And even out of those: there are plenty of flaws. Gosh, is this as good as it got in the 80's? #-O

1. Franz Sanchez- A fantastic performance by Robert Davi went a long way towards making Licence To Kill my favorite Bond film of the decade and in my opinion a series classic. His sense of style is grand yet not overly ostentatious. A stone killer underneath whose street roots he has never quite outgrown and he doesn't mind getting his hands dirty.
2. General Orlov- I've always considered Steven Berkoff the lead villain and Octopussy
would be far less entertaining if we'd been left with Jourdan and Bedi as the heavies. If
they ever reveal a head of Quantum and it is a man, this is the guy I'd want to play him
hands down, I wish they could get him back for another turn as a villain.
3. Max Zorin- Another grand OTT performance in the spirit of Orlov. I'm a big fan of
Christopher Walken period and to me he outshines everyone in AVTAK including Sir Roger.
HENCHMEN-
1. Dario- it's hard to believe this was Benecio Del Toro's movie debut considering how
awesome he was in the role. Irredeemably twisted and pure evil and unlike his boss, he
doesn't put up a facade of being civilized.
2. Dr. Karl Mortner/Hans Glaub- Willoughby Gray puts on a terrific performance in every
scene he is in, I find his character to be very multi-faceted and even though the viewer
knows we have an unrepentant evil ex-Nazi who thought nothing of committing atrocities in the name of science, somehow he has a genuine fatherly affection for Zorin that is almost touching to some degree.
3. May Day- Even if you find Grace Jones to be a horrible actress and downright scary
in her appearance (how she become a successful model I will never know), people remember her probably more than any other 80's Bond henchman, or woman in this case.
