    Eh... spoiler tags?

Come on guys, how hard is it to use spoiler tags? The film isn't even out yet, don't start spoiling things for people now. Spoiler tags are there for a reason.

It's hopeless. There is no containing it, with so much information around, people don't even know when they're spoiling things for others.
The internet is a scary place right now :( :( :(
  • I wonder with all this emphasis on doing it for real, are they going to use a different shot from the one obvious CGI shot shown in the trailers/tv spots.
  • edited September 2015 Posts: 3,276
Of course. Things being discussed earlier in this thread without spoiler-tags, now - for some reason - demands spoiler-tags. It's quite confusing.

I think some do, which is the real tragedy.

Mine too @RC7. I thinkkk it's safe to say that this is the Craig-era interpretation of......Blofeld's vulcano lair, Bleuchamps alpine lair, Blofeld's oil rig lair, Stromberg's Liparus lair, Drax's space station lair, Trevelyan's Cuban GoldenEye lair, Carver's Stealth boat lair ;-). Perhaps it's Oberhauser's bigger, better, larger, more secret version of Silva's IT-Hacking Facility lair ;-)? And for the first time in the Craig-era of films we'll probably get this lair to see as early/late as the 3rd and final part of the film. Part of the grand finale so to say....

    What do you think @RC7?

looks like the villains lair from the U.N.C.L.E. movie "The Helicopter Spies".

Thank you very much @Gustav_Graves! This will be a fantastic resource once I've seen the film. Bookmarked.

Love doing it @NickTwentyTwo ;-). I'm quite autistic when it comes to...creating clarity among this 'Big Bond Tornado'. But I like it, and the result is really: clarity :-D.

Got to be careful inside this tornado, lest you get hit by a flying cow (or in this case, spoilers!).

Best [Bond] video blog ever perhaps. Two words I find suitable for that one: "wow" or "hype!"

Went and put some fuel in the car earlier today and they had copies already on the shelves so i snapped one up immediately.
As for the vlog, i enjoyed it and now look forward to finally hearing the song at last, and then the final trailer before the big main event on October 26th!!!! \m/
On a separate note are their any TV specials confirmed yet before Spectre is released?
  • Great vlog. Plenty of stuff going on that I hadn't seen elsewhere before. It amazes me how much the Bond team accomplish from start of production to release date. Amazing!
Can't wait for this film to open.
  • Just a nice screencap I made, NO spoilers :-). It was filmed on location in Morocco. You can see director Sam Mendes and special effects supervisor Chris Corbould:

Looking at those photos, particularly the one with the helicopter, I think there are going to be a significant amount of post production effects added to complete the lair, not unlike Silva's island.

Ya Know, if you are at all worried about spoilers maybe shouldn't be cruising the internet until the film comes out because there will always be slip ups. Then you can catch up afterwards with the rest of the fans. After all even that VLOG just gave away a handful of new info.

That's not an excuse to leak info you can obtain by reading the script. So easy not to slip it out, seriously.

    Well hopefully
the only effect is stitching together another physical set built at Pinewood. Thoug perhaps this is just an establishing shot for the arrival and/or explosion and wont be on screen too long.

Well I wouldn't mind if it's something more elaborate. I know there is a great deal of warranted and unwarranted distain for CGI. There is an incredible amount of virtually flawless effects work out there that is so good it goes unnoticed. If this is the "villain's lair" I want something spectacular like in the Connery and Moore films. If that means top notch CGI, then so be it.

You're absolutely right. If you're really avoiding spoilers, you're taking your own life into your hands on this site, of course. I'm avoiding as much as I can but I still visit because I like the community, so I realize that I'll be seeing something things i'd otherwise have avoided.
