Pierce Brosnan lets it all hang out in Hawaii

Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan is in his second home - Hawaii - for a winter break.

The 58-year-old has starred in a couple of films this year - with Sarah Jessica Parker in "I Don't Know How She Does It" and the lead role in "Salvation Boulevard" with Jennifer Connelly and Marisa Tomei.

    and to think some people believe he could still play Bond! By the time he comes out of the gym to lose that gut he'd be about 70 anyway.

    If he lost a bit of weight, I can picture him as Bond from 2002-2012. He looked so Bond in Ghost Writer... Man he aged well... Pity he didn't play more Bond after DAD, he really gain maturity, and acting talents, judging by his post-Bond films.

    Who am I kidding, I don't look that good and I'm 22 years Pierce's junior.

    Yeah, he looked alright in Ghostwriter (good film that). Facial wise he has aged well. He doesn't look almost 60.

    I was thinking the same thing, he looks a little slimmer than he did a year or two ago

    That sign in the last picture should read: Warning: Flabby waistline. IMO he looked a little old in DAD so not sure he could have continued unless he poked fun at his age like Connery in NSNA. Still looked better than Moore in View to a Kill.

    I just met Pierce last month. He came to my store in Halifax. He looked to be in good enough shape.

    i think if he lost a little bit of wieght he COULD have done one or two more after DAD. But now its not so much his weight, but his age. He's just too old now, but afew years ago i could still picture him as bond.

    If he lost some weight I think he could still be Bond! He's ageing well.

    He does look good and you certainly wouldn't call him overweight. Great for 58. Good title for a fitness video if Brosnan wants it. ;)

    The crap Brosnan gets on this site is borderline disrespectful.

    I fear to Picture Craig when he's his age.

    He looks better in these pictures than Connery did in Diamonds are Forever and he is nearly 20 years older in relative terms.

    @Grant I agree, he looks good for 58. And i feel the same about craig, he's really aging faster than brosnan was. But despite looking in good shape, i think he's just too old to suddenly start playing bond again. I think he could've done one or two more films but its just too late now, which is a shame.
