I'm partial to the French girls myself, and am quite happy that DC has had/will have had more than his share of that when the party's all done with....

Having said that, Belucci ain't too shabby at all either...

I agree with the CR feel @Shark_Of_Largo. Maybe that is a conscious intention here. ie. bring it full circle. I wonder.

You never know, I just feel, from the trailers, there are certain similarities to CR. No bad thing at all.

Couldn't agree more about Monica Belucci. Always been a favourite of mine, one of the sexiest women on the planet and still is at 50. To have her in this movie is a big bonus for me. Seriously, beautiful sexy woman. Both female leads in the movie are; has a CR feel to the Bond girls, Belucci providing the sexiness (while still being stunning) and Seydoux providing elegant beauty. Roll on release time.

Didn't think about this before but you are so right and lets add in both films one is french and the other italian ohh and one more the french actress is the elegant beauty while the italian brings the sexiness.

Monica Bellucci: Being Faithful is Difficult.

Monica Bellucci thinks it is "difficult" to be faithful.

The 'Spectre' actress - who was previously married to Vincent Cassel - believes people have affairs because it isn't easy to find a partner who has all the characteristics they are looking for.

Asked if she agreed with Daniel Craig's view that James Bond is "misogynistic, sexist and very lonely", she said: "No I don't think so.

"I think it's difficult to find the right woman for a man, to find a woman with all the characteristics that a man needs. The same thing for women.

"That's why it's so difficult to be faithful in life."

The 51-year-old beauty enjoyed working with Daniel on the latest installment of the spy saga and found shooting sex scenes with him "easy".

She told the new issue of Britain's GQ magazine: "What I like about Daniel is that it's so simple, he's a great actor, he's very beautiful.

"It was easy to do scenes that would be difficult to do with someone else, where you have to get intimate with someone you don't know, but with him it was easy."

Monica also revealed she was previously asked to star in a Bond movie over 20 years ago but didn't feel "ready" at the time.

She said: "A long time ago I did a screen test for James Bond, more than 20 years ago, But I was not ready.

"I don't remember the film. It was Pierce Brosnan I think - he was an amazing Bond, so sweet and so kind. Violent, but in a very nice way."

More than 20 years ago? Maybe it was the screentest for TLD? I would've thought she'd been cast as Paris Carver in TND, though.

    @Shark_0f_Largo
    I second that! :D

This video just popped up in my inbox:

It's about lovely Léa telling us how to be a Bond girl, produced by British Vogue. It's a nice little nod to the other films as well. :)

    EDIT: Didn't see that ^

Léa Seydoux on Spectre: I had to go for it!

Actress Léa Seydoux believes any Bond girl has to really "go for it" to make an impact.

The French beauty stars alongside 007 Daniel Craig in the highly anticipated upcoming James Bond movie Spectre. The 30-year-old follows in a long line of Bond girls including Jane Seymour, Ursula Andress and Eva Green and Léa knew she had to bring her A-game if she was to compete with her predecessors.

"I thought, 'Right, I really have to go for it - work on my English accent, do some sport, get fit,'" she confessed to Britain's The Observer newspaper. "The main role is James Bond, but when she comes on, it's got to be strong - you have to really notice her."

Her fitness came in handy as the star admitted she did have a few stunts to carry out in the movie.

While details on Spectre have been kept relatively secret, Léa was able to give a little insight into her character, Madeleine Swann.

"It's all to do with reminiscence," she said. "Spectre is all about Bond's past coming back to the surface - she's the madeleine that brings back memories."

The star worked closely with director Sam Mendes while filming to make sure she portrayed Madeleine how he envisioned. Léa has worked with a number of respected directors during her career including Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino and she has no problem in adjusting to their individual ways of making a movie.

"Whether you're in a blockbuster or an art film, you have to be able to adapt," she continued. "François Truffaut once said, 'An actress is like a vase that you put flowers in.' You're always a sort of vase. However a director wants to do it, I accept."

Léa will also be seen in upcoming movie The Lobster which is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. The star agreed to appear in the movie before she had even read the script as she wanted to work with the Greek director so badly.

"I like working with directors who have their own universe," she smiled. "For me, cinema's like a language - everyone has their own form of it."

That last paragraph essentially sums up what Craig meant RE:wrist slitting gate. People can be so stupid and it's genuinely alarming reading some of the reactions from Jo public.

Darnit, why didn't she go on Tout le Monde en parle a week before, when I was there and could have watched the program this Sunday? I could have tried to be in the audience when they shoot on Thursday night I guess. Why didn't I think about it then?

Here's the TV show (In French): Monica just spoke a little bit about Spectre (from 5:43) and didn't say anything new. Unfortunately, the encoding quality is not so good.
