Greetings all! Recently I've considered myself a Bond Music aficionado, and sadly a lot of Bond scores are incomplete. Fortunately, there are a lot of fan efforts to rip and re-record lost Bond music, so I figured I'd share my findings with you all. :) So I will begin with my most recent findings.

Wow, I'm loving these -thank you very much. An amazing soundtrack and one that was under represented on the official re-recorded version. I've loved this music since I was a kid, it's unique and the middle eastern flavours are extremely tasty.

Here's something very special for the lost music archive. John Altman's original version of the GoldenEye tank chase. Sadly it doesn't include the bit from Russian Archives or the ending half but at least we have the redone version by Nic Raine to fill in the gaps. This was taken from the album John Altman - Film and TV Showreel.

I have every Bond score except Goldeneye and Dr No, where possible I have purchased the delux versions of several of the soundtracks.

I have every Bond score, legally owned and fan compiled expanded bootleg editions. My love of Bond music is comparable to Goldfinger's love of gold. I must have ALL of it. And most of the official released scores are missing many of my favorite cues. It's very sad that Moonraker is missing so much from it's score. It's one of Barry's best. But at least with this thread many of those tracks, whether they are ripped from the DVD's or fan made re-recordings, those lost cues will have a home here. :)

Yeah Moonraker certainly one of the leanist scores. Recently bought majority of the scores on Digital copy from Amazon. Also have several on vinyl and CD. Alas I gave all my tape cassettes away. I am a big Barry fan and have numerous albums that he made over the years, offering variations of his Bond themes.

Same here. I've also collected various compilation albums featuring numerous of remade versions of the Bond theme as well as other themes. I can't get enough. :D

Yeah the girl did a fantastic job on both. The Nancy Sinatra version of YOLT was spliced together from various seperate recordings, not the easiest song to sing never mind singing it live.

Those GK Gyver fan re-recordings of Moonraker (and also Golden Gun) are really great. shame he didn't do many of the other missing tracks.
