they've been 9.99 for weeks! I'm hoping they do some kind of better promo the week Spectre comes out
They are actually stunning, as you can see here. And I am planning to buy these sole slip covers as protective covers for my steelbooks. Did you buy them and if so, do they actually fit the steelbooks? Can you comfortably slip these covers on the actual steelbooks?

Apparently there will be an even more exclusive steelbook edition of "SPECTRE" that includes an exclusive lenticular slip cover (a bit like the ones I posted in my previous post), an extensive production booklet, post cards from the film and a signed card mentioning it is one out of a limited edition of 500 copies. The 500 steelbooks will be released in China and Japan, but can also be bought by us on the various webshops.

Wow!! Those ones are great. HMV do similar ones in the UK but they just have the film's logo and original poster inside - they're great, but not as great as these :P No Skyfall either which is a shame
I have Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace in this collection.
That kind of slipcover there also can use for example for 3 disc edition CR i like to see. You at a tracklist of missing music and some words/sign of David Arnold.

On top of that, it seems that AMAZON FRANCE and MEDIAMARKT GERMANY will be the only media shops that will be offering a 2-disc Steelbook set (all other steelbook releases (NOTE: Netherlands, USA, UK) so far seem to be 1-disc releases! But if I were you I would wait for final disc content specifics before buying!).
For AMAZON FRANCE, it says it will have a BluRay disc with the film and a DVD disc with the film. One of the special features on the main movie disc is an extensive look at the "SPECTRE" PTS or opening sequence (not a videoblog) and insight in how the big stunt from "SPECTRE" got mentioned in the Guinness Book of Records. As the French steelbook will have space for 2 discs, it is perhaps nice to use the space for the Target DVD bonus disc with special features or the German MediaMarkt BluRay bonus disc with special features:

Prices of this very exclusive steelbook release will undoubtedly be much more expensive, as you have to buy it via a 'group buy' via the weblinks I just gave to you above.
In general, home entertainment (BluRay's and DVD's) is cheapest in Germany and The Netherlands. USA comes after that. But France and especially the UK are quite expensive. Not to mention the insane prices in general from AMAZON.
