It isn't the fault of anyone on the site. Check any other Bond sites.
That's actually a good question, sir, possibly the first truly constructive post in this entire thread. Thanks. :) Allow us to discuss it with the admins. ;-) I don't know if it can be done technically but it would be great!
@Master_Dahark
No worries, friend. I never make it personal.
*Finishes bourbon (with ice), stands up, buttons up jacket and walks out.*
@RC7
I'm glad you know from experience that it's not a bonkers rule. :-)
Reminder to self: don't EVER share your custom blu-ray cover set with anyone....just in case.

Well you certainly have good taste - he's my favourite too!
I do hope someone has reported that website to EON's lawyers in case they haven't got copyright for that picture.
We should really all help EON out during this difficult time by sending them links to every Bond related picture we can find on Google just on the off chance they are being denied valuable revenue by the lawless Internet.
I blame Tim Berners-Lee myself. By gifting the World Wide Web to the world for free he created a monster that cannot be properly regulated.
All well and good allowing people free and instant exchange of ideas, access to all the information ever created, cheap flights, videos of cats on skateboards and infinite porn Tim, but did you think how it would impact the livelihood of small family businesses like EON?
And to think they made him a Knight of the Realm. Disgraceful.
Hmm. Not quite sure how totalitarian enforcement of EON's policies equates to freedom of speech.
Pretty sure at Speakers Corner there's not a sign that says 'Say whatever you want but for *** sake don't exhibit any pictures that are copyright of EON.'
But whatever.
Not sure where you're getting freedom of speech from, but the government's inability to arrest people for what they say definitely has nothing to do with this issue whatsoever, I don't think :P
I think the original point was just that, given nothing to complain about, we wouldn't get your witty/amusing posts (and I agree, I think your posts on the matter are funny).
Exactly.
And Connery's expression is like 'like I give a damn' :))
Disappointing @Scaramanga12.
I was about to say that that was the best post on this entire thread but then you've gone and changed it to a link.
No, it was changed to a link on his behalf.
I guess he missed the rest of the thread. Or didn't read through the small print.
;)
This site is just an EON lacky, and it's underhand in that it pretends to be 'unofficial' (independent). We saw that when you sneakily stopped a thread from bumping to the top because you saw it as subversive. I wonder if the day will come when you announce that only positive threads are allowed so as to maintain a friendly relationship. I'm out of here anyway. I hope EON can scrape by without the revenues we have deprived it of.
They permitted a contained thread for the script leaks here for months, which is to their credit, so it's not all bad.
Apologies for doubting you @Scaramanga12.
I should have guessed that the Mods who constantly claim 'don't shoot the messenger' had intervened on behalf of their bosses.
Don't know what you're talking about old son. That certainly has never happened on this 100% unofficial, independent website.
will be following the rules. :) as I don't want to see MI6 get into any
trouble.
That's a nice little nothing you're almost knowing.
Now if our veteran members have something to say, I'm willing to listen and respond. I value their opinion, you see. But to have a newcomer like @Scaramanga12 drop a pretty big screen shot from DN in this forum as an obvious "ef you!" to the mod team, only to then rant in the comfort zone of the Wiz's shadow and subsequently run off to momma, that's just laughable. Luckily I'm dealing with this kind of behaviour professionally on a daily basis and can store it under some unflattering labels with a smirk.
Come on, children, play time's over. We've all given our two cents on the matter, let us go back to important issues now. Next time I need to post an announcement I'll check with all sorts of committees and organisations just to make sure I don't step on any sensitive tails any more. I'll have a team of lawyers examine every word in every sentence just to make sure I leave no delicate stone unturned. I thought we were reasonable adults here; instead I have to fight off chess computers who process every sentence in every conceivable context for a possible double meaning hidden between the lines. This is worse than those hyperfundamentalist groups in the Bible Belt playing Metallica songs in reverse because they suspect the band has strategically positioned some Satanic verses in there.
We're asking for no blatant copying of EON material in our posts - we're not asking for a kidney or your first born - and suddenly the mods are on EON's payroll. I'm frankly surprised no-one's used the word 'fascist' yet. This mod team has been exceptionally tolerant to all sorts of mild violations of the terms and conditions of this forum for years now. Fascists? Come on, we're anything but. We're tough on spammers but pretty soft on everyone else. Now we politely ask to be post links instead of the real thing and people start blowing smoke up our hoo-ha as if we just started WWIII.
If @Scaramanga12 feels the need to leave over this little issue, fine. I'm sure there are better places to go to for someone who feels like we just committed a heinous crime by removing the
