As you can see my top 3 scenes of the movie are all deaths. That's how much the movie had me invested into these villains and making me want to see these guys get their ass beaten. You wanted to see these villains get killed in the most gruesome way ever because of what they did to Felix and Della.

-The final scene in the pool. I know it's unpopular, doesn't flow well from the dreary film that precedes it, but I don't care. I thought the jump into the pool was a nice twist on the standard "Oh, James" ending and Kamen's "Pam" track is one of my favorite cues in the franchise.

-Planting the evidence against Krest / Sanchez kills Krest
Let's see...
- Krest's head blowing away is still the most gory moment of the series, and I love it
- Bar fight.
- Sánchez being too annoyed with Truman-Lodge's legal concerns, so he makes him go with a bang.
It really is waaay too long though. Way too many dumb Moore stunts padding it out.
Bond's escaping the bullet with the car and driving in an un ususal way just like in diamonds are forever but with a bigger car.

3. "See you in hell Sanchez!/Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life." - Felix fed to the sharks.
Lots of great scenes in this film. At least six or seven that could easily be a top 3 scene.
Not sure if this will get me killed but the first time I watched the movie I barely noticed Dario until the drug factory.
1. Grand finale tanker chase (this includes Bond setting Sanchez on fire, if that matters)
2. Bond talks to M at the Hemingway House.
3. Bond is interrogated by MI6 and the Japanese agents. "Piss off."
Honorable mention: Bond meets Sanchez at the casino, Bond investigates the lair and kills Killefer.

I'm not surprised. As I said, he doesn't do much onscreen. Having said that, he is still a great henchman. I don't think his name is really mentioned in the movie?
TLD was a life altering experience, seeing it at the cinema at age 13.
LTK was a huge disappointment for me in 1989, I was 15 and I remember perfectly what I felt back then.
The Felix/Shark scene was way too brutal, I never recovered from that and wasn't able to fully enjoy the movie. Felix's wife getting killed just made it worse. Also Sanchez getting set afire was off-putting. I left the cinema totally unnerved and didn't recognise LTK as a Bond movie. I had only seen OP TLD and AVTAK at that point.
It's my belief that many people probably were shocked about the brutality of the movie. I don't know what word-to-mouth was back then, but I can imagine not good.
TLD was so different and probably made the people expect that it would go further in that direction.
LTK was ahead of its time. Never a good thing to be successful.
Later during the Brosnan-era I re-discovered LTK and realised slowly how great a movie it is.
Now, for a decade, the movie is even in my Top 10 and Dalton is my favourite Bond actor.
It is. When Krest and Sanchez are at the Marina Krest tells Sanchez is sub to Cuba is ready, then Sanchez says "relax we wait for Dario".
Then at the Bar when Dario walks in Pam says "shit its Dario, he's bad news"
True, LTK does not feel much like a "Bond movie". While I enjoy it that's why it does not sit highly in my rankings. QoS is in the same boat, and will perhaps be more appreciated in time. It's starting to happen here on MI6C but its average ranking has not changed since it was released

Many fans argue it feels like a Miami Vice episode or something. I had never seen MV up until a few days ago. I gave it a shot and while I really enjoyed it, LTK is nothing like it in my opinion.
