I visited the exhibition on the 21st April and am pleased to report that non-flash photography is at last permitted. I was particularly impressed by the Solitaire display from LALD and the BMW bike from TND. Coming right up to date the costumes from SPECTRE are a welcome addition. The question I have to ask though - why were we not allowed to take photos at the Barbican, Rotterdam and Madrid ?

I'll be driving in the vicinity of Paris in a month or so.

Just to clarify is this the same 'Bond by Design' (or something like that) exhibition that was in London around the time of SF or something entirely new?

I've been there last Monday, was really cool to see for me, as i've never been to any sort of Bond exhibition before.

Cool doesn't even begin to cover it. That's really something to see, and see again, if you're in the Paris area till september. I went there this afternoon, and I'm still on cloud 9. From the lobby, where we are greeted by the DB 5 and the DB 10, to the entrance (where the gold-covered body of Jill Masterson is seen on a rotary bed), to the various exhibits (the Casino, Q Branch, the various countries visited) to the merchandise section (where I bought the catalogue), it's a joy for every bond fan.

BTW, you remember that, for Bond in Motion in London, you could get your picture taken inside a gunbarrel, wearing a tux ? Well, they had that too. Except that here, they give you a toy gun too. In London, I had to use my fingers. But anyway, worth the 21,90 € and the 2 hours I spent inside. Don't miss it !

@Gerard you are right, cool doesn't begin to cover it, and it was pretty amazing, especially for a Bond Fan, but since this was my first trip to Paris and the City (and especially the Louvre) blew my mind beyond repair, The Bond Exhibition has only been one piece of the whole puzzle that i am still trying to comprehend :)

The Casino Room was by far my favorite, i could have spend hours in there.

I've been to the same exposition in Rotterdam/The Netherlands. It was fantastic! A must visit for any serious Bond fanatic.

A little taste of what people can expect to see:
