Does anyone know about the extras?

They seem to be the exact same as the UEs but with an added 50th anniversary documentary thrown in on a new disc.
    MrDJWest wrote:
Will they all be new discs with new menus or just a rehash of the ultimate editions like the last blu rays.

Probably the same as the UE menus but this is the anniversary so who knows? The cover art may also change.

Will the Quantum of Solace disc have much more than what the original release like the delux edition of Casino Royale?

If a new release of Quantum of Solace is announced, which it should be, I would guess, yes. We don't even know which version of Casino Royale will be included, so a lot is up in the air at the moment, as you can tell!

Amazing how Campbell and Apted are only 2 years apart. The difference is staggering

That wonderful Campbell picture - who yes looks so great for his age - is ripe for captioning. :))

Olga and Murino. The two ravishing Bond-girls, that our "man" Craig didn't have time for :\">

70? Not even close. I'd make him late 50s - early 60s. He looks really great.

Caterina and Olga look beautiful. I guess you could say "once a Bond girl, always a Bond girl" if it didn't sound a bit cheesy... :p

Campbell is 68, so not 70 yet.

Olga, gorgeous as always. But no Eva... :\">
  • Well, I've took the plunge and got this preordered from Amazon UK. Was always going to and actually find the £89 price tag reasonable. Roll on October!

    Love the trailer on www.007.com.
  • Preordered from Amazon UK for £90. Seems a good deal for 22 blu-ray James Bond movies
  • Iv been going back and forth since yesterday on weather to get it or not, but that comes to £4 per film. So i did it. What a deal! :)

Some are probably wondering what some of the Lowry-restored classics will look like in full 1080p glory. Will they look as great as the already released TB? Here's a sneak peak:

Oh, wow. Very nice looking indeed. Do you have anything from the other six @Zekidk?

Hmm... The 4K Lowrys ones are the ones I find interesting (the first 9 Bond-movies, six of them released so far). But all the others look more or less great also. Here's a clip from TSWLM (in 1080p you can actually read the letters on top of the digits on Bond's watch now) ;;) :

I'd like to know what the extras are before purchasing. Other than the QoS Mr. White ending, are there any other deleted scenes in the series yet to be released?

Wow, those remaining 4k Lowrys (YOLT,OHMSS and DAF) look amazing. I may have to spring for the whole thing, just to get the DAF 4k Hi-def asap.
Sean is at his most awesome Bond-best in the DAF pts. ^:)^

Should've been George in DAF, not Sean.

When I said "announcement", I just meant showing up on Amazon to pre-order like the blue rays.

Can't wait to see the packaging.
  • The new trailer was great!!! I'm looking forward to this set.. even if it means double dipping on a couple of the films.

Going to be a spectacular year for OO7!

"Any day then. Unless there is no release..."

Do you reckon that if the standard DVD's haven't shown up on Amazon atleast within, say, the next 2 weeks then they won't be released?
  • i expected to pay about 300 quid

I would think so but I really don't know. It would only be a guess.

This release may well be Blu-ray only as MGM/Fox/EON want to push 'Bond on high-def' as it's the first time.

If it is, at least you can purchase the 44 disc set without having to wait any longer, that's a plus.
