Brosnan did brush up on a little Danish in TND. Does that count?
  • Oh forgot about that, anyway apart from that I think I have the right answers

My main concern above all else is that Agent Bond 007 just happens to speak languages throughout his exploits that he well, he really shouldn't be speaking. It's like Bond is a walking translator sometimes

Now that I mention it i'm sure Brosnan was shouting some Vietnamese at bystanders when he and Yeoh were on the bike in Saigon from the escape from the Carver building in Tomorrow Never Dies

Don't know where it will all end

Well excellent... only I think you've missed French from GE but it's ok.
I think we can firmly assume he speaks at least partially fluent French, German, Italian, Spanish, and perhaps Japanese. The others come as general knowledge...
However I remember in Fleming that Bond only spokes another languange when it's really necessary, so he maybe is more polyglot than we are aware of.
This was my first trivia, I hope to make a better question the next time!
  • Since when was Brosnan (I'm developing a mania for Brosnan this night) speaking French in Goldeneye, all the time he was in Monte Carlo I don't remember any such thing, apologies if I missed something. Wait a moment now that you mention it, he did utter a few words on arriving at the casino. So many of these things you forget about.

0013 you need to decide a winner

Arriving at the Casino: "Bonsoir Pierre, ça va bien?"
You said most of them @Baltimore, you win.
  • hope this one gets a few comments, I'll list my answer in a day or so. Which bond film is the best out of FRWT, GE, CR, AVTAK, or GF???? In advance I do relize it is nearly impossible to decide but be good sports ok?!

Hello to all the other new agents!

Also hello to any of the Canadian's out there!

Agent 005, I'm afraid you're in the wrong thread for that kind of question. Here, we try to answer questions about Bond trivia (like for example what vehicle have both Bond and the Doctor used in their adventures ?), not trying to decide which Bond movie is the best. And besides, Baltimore has the hand here.

BTW: the answer is an Autogyro (I alerady asked that question once, and used it here as an example).
  • I think this will do for this night, getting late and all

my Trivia question is, in the film series and starting from the earliest, (and I hope I'm right with this but fairly confident) what was the seventh US State that James Bond is featured in, in person, seen etc from the start onwards Only counting once, same states featured do not count. **==

    Simples

On crap! Ummmmm.. 1st Florida in GF, 2nd Kuntucky in GF, 3rd Navada in DAF,4th New Orleans in LALD, 5th NY in LALD, 6th Louisiana again in LALD, so that leaves 7 Calafornia in MR It's the last "New" state Bond has been to.
  • Not too many responses here except to say that Virage is incorrect this time out. Somebody knows the answer to this, so just disclose the right information and they can have a turn next, somebody may be missing a certain state out, there's a very big clue here by that

In order, from Doctor No onwards, 007 in different states, all I need is the 7th new one we find him in, gave away a big pointer tonight

    Genius response!

Help! This is confusingly phrased. Do we need to see Bond in the location (i.e. L.A. in DAF would not count because we just see the exterior of the airport)?

Also, should we consider faked U.S. visits such as California in Moonraker?

Let's see what we have here

Connery Goldfinger, Florida, Maryland and Kentucky, Diamonds, Nevada, California and Moore New York and Louisiana, the right answer

If we can take Craig out of the Miami bit Bond hasn't been back since 1989 by my math

    Kerim carry on

Let's stay with the geography theme. Of all the countries in the world, Bond has visited England, obviously, and the US the most. I want you folks to fill in the blanks.

In film, and coming in at third, Bond has visited the country of _______________ the third most for a total number of ____ visits. This will also include territories, municipalities, etc. The films Bond visited _________ in were _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________.

Ok. Three operas had been present in the films. What are the names of the operas and in which films appeared?
  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's, 40th symphony G Minor and The Marriage of Figaro, Living Daylights

    Leoncavallo, I Pagliacci, Moonraker

    It was worth a try

And Tosca from Quantum Of Solace.

    Are those the three?

Yes, Le Nozze di Figaro, Tosca and I Pagliacci. (The Symphony doesn't count @Baltimore).

    Good job sports!

@Baltimore_007, got the most so he can take it away.
  • I wasn't even aware I'd got it until looking through past threads :-/

Anyway, I'll be quick and let someone else have a go after this

Q/ What glaring anomaly is present in Diamonds Are Forever

It has nothing to do with actors, producers, sound artists or anything such

Well done to whoever gets this

Is it where the Mustang all of a sudden changes angles when it goes onto 2 wheels to go down the alley ?
  • Oh dear what is going on here :(

006 is not even close, another clue can be found in the casinos, I say take a gamble on a right answer and you might hit the Jackpot
  • Q using his own gadget?
  • @SirCLMDBCRaig is incorrect this time out, has nothing to do with persons or gadgets

It's simply one thing that simply sticks out and I don't mean St John's backside, in this 1971 release, somebody somewhere - knows

Diamonds are forever, Yes?, there's something strange here that really stands out, go west and look around the Casinos for an answer

    :(

It features Connery after he decided to leave Bond behind. He was the only actor to return?
