The Rock and Lord of War are fantastic films !! [-(

Think the knowing starring cage is a under rated movie, not perfect though has some good idea's.

It is awesome, done all in one take.
  • last word on this and I felt like including Ace Ventura 2 (when nature calls), for those that haven't seen it, don't bother, Carrey was good in some films of the time but not this, it's a real disappointment and not amusing, same as with the Dumb and Dumber remake they did which Carrey was in the original as well. While we're at it, I haven't seen Rocky Bilbao (2006), which is Rocky 6 by all accounts so can't really comment, but the fifth Rocky in 1990 was damn abysmal, no boxing, just training some rude kid for a title shot and end fight out on the streets, it was terrible.

Robocop 2, awful, seen the 3rd which was probably worse, no wonder Peter Weller left the series, Original was the best ever, they'll never beat it and shouldn't have tried. Lethal Weapon 3 and 4, just boring, banal stories that go nowhere, second with the South African diplomats was the best, anything that Van Damme did after 1995 or Sudden Death time can go out with the trash too

Poltergeist original was worthwhile and actually damn frightening back in the day when I was younger, but the second and third are just best forgotten, there was a curse on the series by all accounts but I don't really buy into it. While we're in familiar territory, Exorcist II and III too, absolute crap and an insult to the excellent original from the early 1970s, a real classic scare story

John boremans exorcist 2 has to be seen to be believed. i am convinced richard burton is in a completely different movie to all the other actors. louis fletcher not sure what's going on with her character at all.
  • Forgot to include Hellraiser in it, I have seen the 1987 original of course and remember it well, have too seen the subsequent releases in the series and always recall they were a major disappointment, think they made another four or five films after the original which was surely too many. I think the main point here is that sometimes movies should just be left alone, Originals should be left intact sometimes and no attempt to duplicate releases, can you imagine if they had ever attempted a sequel to Ice Cold In Alex or The Third Man (for example), it simply wouldn't have worked, sometimes originals can't be beaten, won't be beaten, so it's just best to leave them be

Recent wolfman remake is terrible though find anthony hopkins hilarious at times, del torro appears to be sleep walking through the movie.

The Rock was only good because of Sean Connery, not Nicholas. In the climax the hole "rocket man" pun spewed by Nicolas just makes me want to smash my head into a wall. Lord of War was a disgrace to the REAL Victor Bout, and Nicolas fails to even try an accent. Pitiful.

    Spawn.

It may be loud, cheesey and dumb, but it's an entertaining way to spend 90 minutes. And it's got some fairly decent CGI with Spawns cape swooshing all over the screen.

I really enjoyed Rocky Balboa, it wrapped the series up nicely and was quite poignant, as long as Sly doesn't make another one!
  • Glitter is easily the worst film I've ever seen, but I'll still watch it just out of amusement value. Makes QoS look like Citizen bloody Kane.
