@thelivingroyale, it's difficult to tell. If it's a very high profile success then that could impact his interest in going through the gruel of another Bond shoot, especially when other interesting projects may be on the horizon shortly thereafter and on account of Logan Lucky.

However, there's no doubt that Bond pays the bills, and if Babs is giving him even more creative control on a future project, he may choose to return and exercise his skillset in a broader fashion (which would also be good for his future resume as he ages).

I'm pretty sure that there will be some constraints on the type of roles he can accept while on Her Majesty's Secret Service, but given he gravitates towards roles that are so different anyway, the chances of a conflict are quite slim.

    So...Bond will return November 8th, 2019?

Says the James Bond 007 Facebook page. Official cast and crew to be announced at a later date.

I can only assume if they're dating it that a large portion of the proceedings are locked in. Time will tell!

I really don't get why it has to be 2019 if everything is locked in

So 2019 means nothing starts filming until earlier in the year, given EON's M.O.

What's Craig got on his plate in 2018? Purity?

No way that takes him an entire year to shoot, and it seems he has nothing on his plate to shoot still - from what I've seen, anyway.

Yes, you did but this is July. Are we to expect another announcement in August? Perhaps the vaunted Craig return?

Another two years from now? Okay, fine, then it will have been 4 years since Spectre. That's... impressive. If Craig does that one too, his films will have bridged some of the biggest average gaps, QOS not included. Three to four years anticipation for each film.

Maybe the reason they are waiting until 2019 is so they can get everyone back from SP?

What's Waltz up to in 2018? And Lea?

One would have to assume so, otherwise his entire 'Logan Lucky' press tour will be about nothing but Bond 25.

If it is Craig, he will have served longer than Moore.

(If it is Fassbender, he starts out at the same age as Brosnan.)
  • Yet another 4 year gap between films.

Which would be fine with me if they actually used all 4 years to to ensure a quality film/screenplay.
