@ClarkDevlin, I'm partial to L'Ennemi Écoute for how Fleming gives us a snapshot of real world spying (I also love how, at the end, Bond says "bitch" in reference to Vesper quietly, then repeats it louder to make sure the Muntzes can hear him). Fleming's Bond was quite funny, in a dry way.
La Vie En Rose is great too, though. After Bond's big win he's got to deal with a cold Vesper, when all he wants is to touch her under the table like all the other lovers. Talk about being stood up after your triumphant night.

Even though i know alot of great stores in amsterdam for all kinds of "daily necessities", i am Not so familiar with the Bookstores you got over there, but i am pretty sure if you just go to the biggest one near you, they will have no problems pre-ordering that book for you ;)
Just make sure you get the right author, it's Van Jensen, not Fleming (who would have thought after all those years)

I always thought Warren Ellis James Bond from Vargr & Eidolon would make a great 24/Sherlock type TV Series, if EoN ever wants to go in that direction... which they shouldn't really.
As for Movies... Not convinced yet myself. With dozens of untapped continuation novels it would be strange to jump straight to the comics. I see some potential here and there but it's just to early to tell.
Even though the art is mediocre at best, Bond was the Bond I know! :))

It won't.
Eon won't be adapting any of the continuation novels by Gardner et al. openly (although many have noted a similarity between the torture scene in SPECTRE and a similar scene in Colonel Sun.) In the same fashion, for legal reasons, they won't be adapting any of the Dynamite comics.
But, Dynamite, at least for a long time, is out of the question.
i loved Black Box. Percy's Bond was awesome, and a close second to Diggles Bond.
And what Black Box also got completely right was the globe trotting aspect.
It's basically a Travel Guide to Japan (for weirdos)
I have mixed feelings about the art as well, because it literally is mixed.
Some panels from Lobosco are exceptionally detailed and almost Poster worthy, others look like throwaway sketches. That inconsistency is annoying, but he gave Japan a really awesome neon flair, and i am overall more pleased with the end result (i always try to focus more on positives anyway).

Only real negative regarding this Issue for me was that the last fight with No-Name felt a bit anti-climactic... i had higher hopes for the guy.
What Percy got completely and utterly wrong however was the character of Felix Leiter.
Yeah his Felix does Absolutely not fit in with the rest of this comic universe so far, especially with Leiters own Book
Oh, and one more small point of criticism was the missed opportunity of adding an 'oh James..." at the end :D
But to be fair it was still nice to end the Book in the fashion they did
He only must've thought: "Uh yeah, we're creating a story that concerns global threats and leaking of worldwide agency secrets, so why not put a famed rival? Yeah yeah, CIA's got a guy, Felix Litter, Lighter, Leiter, was it? ... Yeah that... We've got enough material to work with."
He only made Felix an opposite number whereas Felix and Bond have grown to have mutual respect for one another as well as come to terms with one another. Nobody tries to outbest one another, but here we are...
But, at least he bedded the girl. :D
In more ways than one, Black Box must've been an unintentional love letter to the Dark Horse Comics era Bond comics. The villains, the art style (Light of My Death and Minute of Midnight), the narrative... The French Alps ending was more of a shout-out to Bond's intro at the Swiss Alps in Serpent's Tooth (something Kill Chain's intro also makes an homage of).
Very True, he shouldn't have wasted Felix for that role and kept him in the private sector where he belongs, no need to involve him.
i'm a bit bummed we did not get a Tiger cameo... was a good opportunity for a bit of world building, but at the same time i don't want it to feel forced like the MCU
It reminded me a lot of the 90's so i can see why you are drawing that parallel, there are definitly some familiar things about it, but i think it's unintentional.
i couldn't stop thinking about 90's cartoons, especially Ninja Turtles for some reason :D

and honestly i had incredibly high expectations for this Series and so far Diggle and Casalanguida are fulfilling them with ease. These guys get Bond 100% right.

Like @00Agent said, or at least what he meant to say, Kill Chain #2 is a Bond-gasmic James Bond comic book at the very least. Hell, the last page alone just gives you the Bondian shivers of how superior a distinguished yet rough around the edges man of all seasons he is.
I wish Diggle and Casalanguida become the regular 007 team for Dynamite. They get Bond like no other. A well-balanced bridge between the literary character and the cinematic character (a la Connery, Brosnan and Moore).
