    Hello All,

I'm a returning member. I was only an mi6 member for about a year so a few of you may have remembered me.

I think the new format is fine and perhaps there are some improved nuances that will take some time to learn and get used to. But my only comment is "if it ain't broke why fix it?" I thought the old format worked seemlessly. It was so easy to just click on the new posts link and get up to the minute postings. The only flaw in it was the search function, which I hear the new one improves on. But I also don't understand why the main mi6 site still retains the old "look". Why not keep the old look of the forums as well? Seems like everyone here favored it.

Well I'm sure Luds and all the Mods have been hard at work trying to keep this thing a float. So I appreciate the efforts and realize it shouldn't fall on any of your shoulders.

And lastly, as mentioned by others, it's really the people on here that has kept me a member. I haven't seen much activity from some of the really knowledgeable members like Largo's Shark, Perilagu Khan, Prince Kamal Khan and all of the Lazenby's...where are you guys? New member BAIN was great too. Anyhow, I wasn't sure about re-joining and I'm not sure how frequent my contributions will be (yet), but I'm willing to get on board and see where it goes. Can't we give it a name at least? Like say, "Attempting Re-Entry?"

    Hey guys!

I was here back in Keeping The British End Up as the same name. I miss the good'ol MI6forums. I love the films, owning The 1st 20 in UE, CR's 3 disc edition, QOS 2 disc edition, CR 1967 and 1954, NSNA, and some spoofs. But Bond isn't my life. I go to a middle school near Washington D.C. and got to meet some big Bond fans who most likely aren't members here. It's good to see some of the older members here to join conversations with. :)

    Sincerely,
    Danny

Not sure if your already aware but 7F is very reminiscent 0f 17F, the codename that Ian Fleming used while working for Navel Intelligence during the war. Welcome aboard Agent7F and the same goes to all the other new members.

Well this was it for me. A drastic layout-change without letting the members know or participate (at least the 00's), the loss of some immensly great threads, the loss of the unique avatar-database and the still active account of one of the most annoying members a fansite has ever seen all made me come to this conclusion.

I've been away here in the past, I do remember me saying "I won't come back", but this is really it.

    Sorry folks. Take care.

All 00's were sent an email redirecting them here.

Anyway, see you @JamesCraig. You're in good company along with the rest of the forum that left.

    Shame...

When you were made a 00, JC, it was a recognition of your contributions. Nothing about that has changed. You might want to be part of this from the start, be considered one of the veterans in a few years and earn some respect from the then n00bs.
