Well, doesn't specifically relates t skyfall. Let your imagination cut-loose and share what kind of or exactly what action sequence would you love to see in a Bond Movie? The idea of this post came to me when I posted in the 'Bond 23 car' discussion about Bond in an Aston Martin V12 Zagato destroying the Ferraris nd Lambos. That's my wish. What're yours guys?

I would love to see Bond on some kind of clapped out moped/scooter, implausibly out pacing bad guys on top of the range bikes or fancy cars, a bit like the 2CV chase! Whilst wearing the trademark tux would be the icing on the cake!

i always thought that an action sequence, where Bond is pursuing bad guys on a busy highway - and he's jumping from vehicle to vehicle - avoiding gunfire, and wrecks to eventually catch up to the bad guys.

How about a chase between an enhanced car and an ordinary car, with Bond in the latter?

Said it before, a finish a la Bird on a Wire where Bond has a finale in a sort of exotic zoo or animal park, there could be all sorts of dangerous animals involved if handled correctly, i.e one henchman falls into a piranha pool, another gets stuck in a lions enclosure and so on, I know this may never see the light of day but it's one idea I always thought would be a grandstand finish

I could see that! It'd certainly be entertaining, and the suspense factor would be second to none, walking around possibly at night searching for the main villain, and we see where the villain is, but Bond doesn't see him. Sort of like the Bond and Scaramanga fun house duel, except this could be even better.

It would be better on such a grand scale as it's probably as grander scale thing as you could possibly think of. Scaramanga Fun Palace in Golden Gun was OK, but the ending was a massive disappointment, all over too quick and too many inconsistencies with it. Christopher Lee was one of the best Bond villains ever but his character was wasted a bit in the end. If you've seen the Gibson movie you had Goldie Hawn in a control room frantically trying to find the right switches to turn on lights and making a terrible mess of things, putting Mel in danger with it, I was thinking do that scenario for Bond and have the obligatory Bond girl in the control room making a mess and getting in a panic with switches and things (a bit like Goodnight in Golden Gun maybe), causing mayhem and chaos and putting Bond at risk but he survives and they make up at the end

I think this has been done before.

Anyway, I'd like to see Bond and a baddy fight on a speeding rollercoaster.

    @thelivingroyale I couldn't find the thread. Sorry.
Also, I don't know if can explain in words, but I'd like a spy chase sequence too. Like Bond is following someone who doesn't know and at the same time, Bond is being followed too..
  • Would like to see a really good ski sequence in Bond 24.

Like Bond is chasing/being chased by bad guys on skis but Bond is having special shoes made by Q... If you know what I'm talking about..

Sounds like a Michael Bay movie to me.

    I would like a scene featuring a high-speed rollercoaster.

lol... oddly enough, i think of Bad Boys 2 when i think of it.... but downplayed a little... not as crazy/insane...

but like, if Bond has to stop a Semi truck loaded with explosives from reaching it's destination - and he obviously can't shoot the truck out, for risk of triggering the explosives.. so his only method is to try and hijack the semi en route.
  • I would like to see a final scene in something like Blofeld's'garden of death in the YOLT novel.

Another one I want is this-
Bond is assigned by M to assassinate a most powerful, dangerous, evil, aspiring dictator to take over the world. He has to go to the dictator's own nation and break fool the heavy and strongest security a dictotor may be surrounded by. The risk is no-one must know the involvement of MI6 or England AT ANY COST.
The sequence will show, how Bond masquerades and fools the security at the arrival place(airport or ship-port etc), how he gathers information about the dictators next public speech event, how he gathers ammunition, plans the assassination AND also plans the escape route. I want one special scene when Bond is standing in the front row in the crowd, he's continuously staring at the dictator, the dictator suddenly realises this, they have a staredown for a while.... Bond gives him a smirk and executes him.

Would awesome guys! What do you think?? Kinda similar to Bruce Willis' The Jackal.

Nice idea for a thriller @MikeBravo but not entirely convinced it would tick all the necessary boxes for a Bond film, as you suggest this is much more 'Fredrick Forsyth territory.

I would love to see a helicopter chase action scene in the streets of New York, and also on the subject of helicopters a battle between armed gunships and a fleeing Bond on a souped up Q branch hang glider.

@saunders your idea looks perfect for a movie titled Skyfall :) :D
Talking about mine, at first it does look like a rather thriller one. But with perfect direction it will fit into the Bond style sequence. After all Bond's what he saud in Casino Royale..'Half Monk Half Hitman.' i have this scene totally built up in my mind. :P

Sounds good. Maybe that abandoned island thing rumored for Skyfall?

Indeed. Add a train crash stunt and a helicopter crashing into a Scottish manor and we've got a kick ass Bond film.

One action scene from the books that never made it to the movies: The train chase from Diamonds are Forever.

And I said it before on another forum, but an action scene on the Millau Bridge would be great, I think. Or a car chase on the Nürburgring, with Bond and the villains going at high speed among the various amateur racers who use it on a daily basis (and a chance to see Sabine Schmitz in action again).

A fight on an active roller coaster.

I wrote it out in great detail on another thread long ago. Its more orientated for CraigBond but in my head its brilliant.

Basically Bond chases the baddie into a park before it opens, and they're running tests on the roller coasters. Bond and the baddie tussle, and fall on to one of the coasters just as it starts. They attempt to fight each other while going around the bends at high speeds and trying not to fall off.

Good fun, will look for the post here soon and add it if interested.

I'd like to see a big fist-fight/gun fight inside one of those airport baggage conveyer belt rooms, sort of like in Die Hard 2 when John dukes it out with two of Colonel Stewart's thugs.

Someone mentioned a giant maze and that got me thinking

Anyone who's seen Kubrick's The Shining, will remember at the end the Jack Nicholson character gets lost in a maze during a snowstorm and freezes to death, why not try something like that, it's a freezing environment and Bond villain has Bond girl in a maze maybe, and the snow comes down and Craig comes in, and everybody gets a bit lost, Bond girl gets away, they are all close to hypothermia, Bond and girl find a way out, and Bardem or whoever it is, cannot find their way out and perishes in the cold etc

It's all sounds a bit silly maybe but it's an idea at that

I like it. It fits Craig's Bond too.

I was even going to suggest a Hall Of Mirrors finale a la Enter the Dragon, but it's been vaguely done before in Golden Gun, coincidentally around the same time

But I wanted Bond fighting like Bruce Lee, I don't mean martial arts, just some fighting techniques and for main Bond adversary to be impaled on a giant spear on a revolving door like in the movie or something

But I heard they were scaling back on the violence next time out, so maybe we should scrub that idea

A dangerous mountain bike chase down a mountain, bond being pursued and obstructed by multiple henchman, battling against upward drafts, lethal almost vertical rock face drop's, dense woodland, water hazards, mud slides and changing weather systems during the mountain decent. Henchman defying gravity with the upward drafts, then being slammed back into the mountain side, and crashing to a roaring ocean below. As the chase progresses a fierce storm approaches upping the the tension. Bond has to use all his skill and ingenuity to survive this chase. The scene could be set up in a similar vein to the ski chase sequence from FYEO.
