    I had the pleasure of seeing First Man in IMAX, Sandgren knows how to use the kit, so that should guarentee Bond 25 at least looks top notch.

    I don't think that is likely. I think they would probably just cover the actual face in dots as they did with Waltz in Spectre if that were the case. I think the Mask is really a Mask. Which makes me curious why he wears it as neither Quantum nor Spectre operatives ever wore any.

    The dots on faces are what they use for cgi. that mask looks too cool and detailed to not be part of the shot. looks like its damaged on one side, most likley from the shooting or struggle in the chase.

    I'm not surprised this is a flashback/past event scene, although I'm not keen on it very much. Just as I thought, it didn't make sense to film the death of a child in a Bond movie, as it was rumoured earlier.

    Just watched through a segment on God Morgen Norge that aired yesterday. During the coverage of the Bond production they spoke to a James Bond fan who was in the area, who had spoken to some of the security guards. One of them hadn't signed any confidentiality papers, and could reveal that

    he had spoken to the young girl we see in the video posted today, and that this is a Norwegian girl – not British as first believed.

    I agree, the girl's jacket looks very late 90's, early 2000's. And the girl, with the very blonde hair, looks like a young Maddy Swann. Might not be a flashback though, the film could simply open in the past - like GE did.

    Wouldn’t they use dots on the face like they did in Spectre if it was going to be CGI’d?

    I think it's fascinating if...after the--shall we say, tepid--critical reception to SP that Eon is not doing their usual (DAF, FYEO) pivot away from the previous film. Instead, they seem to be doubling-down on the Madeleine backstory.

    the video clip is a good indicator about the tone on the movie. Looks very dark to me, more like a John Carpenter movie, hard to think of anything so dark within the Bond series

    Adding to the comment about the God Morgen Norge segment:
    During the interview a car with a car trailer comes driving along the road the reporter and the guy interviewed stands by.

    (not really a spoiler or anything, but why not)

    On the car trailer there’s a big metallic tank, which the fan suggests might contain (or to be filled with) liquid nitrogen – possibly to create smoke, fog or similar.

    He also mentions that he met and spoke to Barbara back in 2008, and mentioning Norway she apparently said that bringing the production over here was something they discussed now and then – and that it would happen. She kept her word!

    Why do everyone think that this is the PTS?
    The clown chase scene from OP was right after the main titles. This could be as well, leaving:

    The flashback is clearly long before he died and separated from Madeline’s mother. She mentioned that she killed an intruder in her father’s house when she was a young girl. This is no doubt that very moment.
