  I have been enjoying some craft beers, mostly Porters. About 11.5-12% alcohol, you get a few of those in ya, your feeling pretty good.

  I've had a few chilli ciders and they're usually very good indeed.
  
  Public service announcement: we had a minor domestic crisis here when my flatmate decided to put a beer in the freezer to cool. I'm sure all of you know not to do that, but just in case: don't do that. (I congratulated her on inventing beer sorbet.)

  Never tried chilli beer or chilli cider before. I have tried chilli ginger beer though – which tasted much like regular cider, only with a slightly stronger flavour.

  I'm having some family over for our Pride Parade in August so I'm looking at all the booze to determine what new signature drink should be created. I clearly do not need a run to the liquor store... even if I imbibe every day until then.
