I'd like to begin by voicing my appreciation for the Ascari KZ1:

There's one in Test Drive Unlimited 2, that's about as close as i'll get to owning one, so that'll be my next purchase in the game.

    Yes, the E-Type is certainly a fine looking piece of engineering. But the Beammer? I don't like the marque, but that has to be one of the most ugliest cars they've unleashed on the road.

    No, the BMW Z3 Coupe is the second most beautiful car ever made (the XKE being the first). I've always been a sucker for this particular shooting brake.
  • And happy 50th Birthday to the E-Type today I believe it is too!

    Jag = gorgeous
    BMW = [-X X_X >:p

    I think that's what they (people with kids and stuff to haul) call a, how you say, hatch back?

  • The Jaguar XK-E (as the Yanks call it) is a thing of beauty! Maybe the most beautiful car ever.
    The BMW is too ugly too be in the same thread with the Jag.
    Love the Ascari though.

    Reminds me of an episode of Frasier, Niles gets a rental car and says "It's something called a hunchback"

    Pleanty of sexy hatchbacks though. The Aston Martin DB2/4 MKIII to name one.

    Rummy... good point. Before we bought the 1990 convertible last summer, I was giving serious thought to an early 1970s Volvo 1800 ES. It wasn't in as good condition as this one though. I thought it was a thing of Beautility. :)

    Ahhhh yes, the 1800ES. I have a 68 coupe myself (in addition to my Jags).

    All fine cars, but it would be very difficult to justifiably group a '68 Mustang 390GT in with all those Bimmers! I mean it's just a completely different class of car! And make! And country...
  • It's just a bunch of awesome cars. I wasn't trying to group them together in any way other than beauty.

    The new MG, the MG6 GT.

    http://www.mg.co.uk/the-models/mg6-gt.aspx

    It looks quite nice from the outside, but the inside looks unomfortable and grim.
