    Alan Moore has been hating on Bond for a long time. He wrote an introduction for The Dark Knight Returns that mentioned Bond's "fundamental hatred of women." And his treatment of the character in The Black Dossier was a hateful, stupid travesty based on a warped notion of what Fleming's Bond was "really" like. So I have very little interest in The Tempest and his supercilious trashing of other writers' characters.

    Don't worry, same here. Plus, he's a hypocrite, plundering and pillaging other's works (here and in Lost Girls), while asking that others either treat his creations with respect, or not at all. Sorry, can't work both ways.

    He's definitely a hypocrite. I don't know what's about him, but he always provides his female characters with physical abuse. And that's putting it lightly.

    Let's do a Dynamite comics ranking list, because no one else has done it. Not I have not read The Body or the one shots. I will be waiting for the hardcovers of both.

    I believe I did rank the Bond comics overall many times on this thread, but I'll list them all again. It includes every existing Bond comic book since 1962 minus The Body (which will never be on my list) and the spinoffs.

    Boy everyone wants to do a prequel to Casino Royale now! I'm feeling confident that this will be great! Jeff Parker did a great period piece in Batman 66. The illustrations are unique in color as well!

    Thanks, @ggl007, that's a very good reference for all the Bond comics coming out over the years.

    More specifically I'm looking for a roll-up of the Dynamite comic publication dates by date, month, year. For example, Wikipedia and other sources do that for the Daily Express comic strips with John McLusky and others.

    Ok I was just catching up on this thread reading all the posts from last few months :D

    I really hope LALD isn't "adapted for today's time" and is an actual adaptation of the novel. (that is if it happens..and I hope it does)

    Also..not too big of a fan of prequels or origin stories so...a 007 origin story? Meh, sounds like a gimmick for ..whatever their reasoning is...to make it more reletable to young adults? idk..

    the "James Bond 007" covers look amazing! I hope the series is as good as the covers..

    Not a big comic guy, dare to explain more? I tried googling it and can they use the character to that extent without being sued? He has the gun, the 007 on the gun and his last name is Bond as far as I understood correct?
