Nope, it got pushed back a couple times. Might still be pushed back, who knows.
Another winner

+ the colours are hundred times better than the ones of CR.
+ But the board with nothing inside, just blank, in page 2 shouldn't exist (at least put something inside if you choose to draw a board ; it's the problem of lot of Bond's comics so far).
Now we're talking. Absolutely love it.
Some background Info for orginis #11, from the man himself.
If they can do my favorite Fleming novel justice, this might become my favorite Dynamite release.
What didn't you like about them?
I didn t like anything about them. Generic stories, and Casalanguida s art was disappointing as well. I knew him from Hellboy, where his artwork was terrific.
Pity, but can't win them all.
Maybe the Fleming adaptions would be more to your liking then.
I should think so. I didn t care much for Bond in those stories, either. Pretty unpleasant person.
Interesting. Then you certainly wouldn't like the Warren Ellis Bond from Vargr and Eidolon. Much more gritty and ruthless.
Every writer brought a different characterisation to these stories. Black Box for example is a lot more like Moore (don't bother though, you won't like it)
Personally I like my Bond most as a dickish antihero. Thats how Fleming wrote him too after all.
Hammerhead and Kill Chain to me are like a modernized Connery, or Connery/Brosnan hybrid you might say.

Ok, i can live with that. Hope this one is better (no Oddjob basically) than it's predecessor.
Now we need some news about what's going on with Origins.
Hmm i just noticed this is the first writing duo we had in the whole series. A guy and a woman. Interesting. Maybe a more prominent female character?
"NOMI is Ian Flemings 007" :))
Lol

Another positive review for 007. Also, I notice that the stories will be year round now. I wonder if we'll see Blofeld make an appearance. I won't be surprised either way. I wonder if there will be a tie-in story with the release of Bond 25.
I think i have to slowly come to grips with the fact that this storyline is just not my thing... It just feels off more times than it feels right, i don't know. There was hardly anything distinctively Bondian about it.
At least i have Origins. And LALD.
Yeah dull is a good word for it. And the whole implants gimmick was just dumb. It's waay to childish and "comic-booky" for my taste.
And the next issue will be the one where Bond disappears based on the synopsis. Much to look forward to :-w
Not a guy and a woman. Non-binary and of colour too.

Oh ok.
I don't even know wtf that means but as long as they can deliver a decent Bond story i couldn't care less if they are nonbinary or half-robot demigods.
I just trully hope this is not another Stunt casting for some cheap publicity (Hey, you made it to the Hollywood Reporter, congrats *clap*), and an attempt to deconstruct the character further ala The Body.
I wouldn't mind reading a Bond comic written by half-robot demigods. They're probably good with titles.
Haha, that would be great to see.
It means that they don't identify as he or she and the gender they were born with. They are 'they/them'. I'm by no means an expert though. I don't care, as long as they get Bond.
I would agree with you on the other points though I was one of the oddities that didn't mind the body all that much. It was poorly executed and strayed way off course, which also made it boring in points. In the hands of someone who understood it better it could have made a better impression and larger impact.
My biggest criticism of the comics has been the art style in Black Box. I hated it. I like the cover that's on my avatar though.
Seems to me that for this series, the writer went the route of the Role-Playing Game of the 80s : featuring well-known villains in adventures that bear little to no ressemblance with what was seen in Fleming's works or the movies that were derived from them. Thos who played the modules put out by Victory Games will understand what I mean.
The covers pretty much tell us already that they will double down on the Bond & Oddjob buddy cop scenario.
I might as well skip them if that's the case.
