Bonjour mon amis!! @LordBrettSinclair welcome to this happy ecstatic thread!

Glad you're enjoying them so far.

Ok @ClarkDevlin it's casting time before Hammerhead #2 is released. I need visuals lol.

Just initial thought not too sure but any thought on Tasmin Egerton as Vivian? Maybe too young and slim?

You're good at this ...what's your thoughts and/or suggestions?

UPDATE: since this is merely a brain exercise in creativity although trying to be as plausible as possible I have another idea much closer to the appropriate age....

    Sienna Miller?

    Sure! :D

    Let's begin!

Dominic West as James Bond (based on the drawings and distinguished persona, I'd cast him as Bond as the most of the suitable ones)

Vivian... too many suggestions... Too many sexy ladies in my mind... :D But yes, Sienna Miller would be terrific. So far. That also said, I can't help but imagine Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in my mind... :D

Delroy Lindo as M, even though the way the artist drew the character has a spitting image of Carl Lumbly as Marcus Dixon from Alias, yes the Jennifer Garner series. So, if Lumbly can adopt British English accent, we have a replacement.

    Thandie Newton as Moneypenny.

Now for that computer hacker Saxon... Anyone can play that role...

Thanks @ClarkDevlin ...you always get me out of a slump!! Great suggestions!!

By the way I had toyed with the idea of West as Haywood for awhile but never quite stuck.

    Thanks!!

I think West is far too posh for Hawkwood. Vinnie Jones is perfect for that character.

Alas, @mcdonbb, doesn't she look like Vivian Hunt? :D

I agree ..doesn't really work for Hawkwood. And yes she has that timeless glamour I envision for Ms Hunt.

In fact even the "film" in my head kinda has a neo 30's glamour to it at times especially when we first see the golden Vivian backdropped with the cold hard steel of the Hammerhead.

I so wish that was lensed in real life by Master Deakins!!!

@ClarkDevlin, love those pages. A great character "voice" for Bond too, with all the right ingredients of sophistication, class and some smug assertiveness, as in ordering the drink. I love how he calls the girl "exquisite" as well, one of my own go-to adjectives for describing the superior sex.

The book looks to have a great writer!

First time in decades we see Bond wearing a tuxedo in a comic book. :D
I believe the last time we've seen him in the tux was in Serpent's Tooth... or GoldenEye if you count adaptations...

I particularly love how smug and self-assured he looks as he orders the drink with half a raised eyebrow.

Kinda cool but one of the colors for the new Aston Martin DB11 is Hammerhead Silver.

    Configured mine today.

    Anyways...

    @mcdonbb, @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, @00Agent, BondJasonBond006

I've read both #11 and Hammerhead #2 today...

#11 was quite enjoyable and plays up with the narrative a bit as we delve deep into M's flashbacks. Loved the character of Eve Sharma here and how she's the only reliable person (so far) within the MI-5 collaborating with MI-6. A sexy action girl who reminded me of Sarah Shahi from Person of Interest a lot.

    But... But...

    Hammerhead #2...

I WANT A JAMES BOND FILM BASED ON THIS! NOW! DAMN! :O

@ClarkDevlin, is Hammerhead as Brosnan-esque as you thought it would be from previews?

    Indeed, @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7! :D

And the dialogues are fantastic! The girl's father as referenced in one of the preview pages above does mention a thing or two about Bond's father (who himself worked for an armaments company, Vickers, mentioned by name also) which I thought was a nice touch... And there are very clever dialogues, too!

Brady, with you being an artist yourself, I believe the artwork in HAMMERHEAD #2 will leave your jaw dropped... Luca Casalanguida is a master at it, along with Chris Blythe!

@ClarkDevlin, when these Bond books are collected and available, I'll be sure to pick them up. Right now I'm so busy with other things I haven't got to seeking them out, but you and others have peaked my interest. The art in Hammerhead especially seems fantastic.

i enjoyed #11 from Eidolon as well, can't wait for the conclusion next month.

But Hammerhead #2 was trully exceptional. There were so many Bondgasm moments in just this one issue, it's incredible. And the OHMSS soundtrack goes rather well with it

@ClarkDevlin, very cool! I expect that aquarium glass to get some cracks in it that will unleash their waters in a big action sequence before that part of the book ends.

    I have been summoned!

This looks really cool! That scene reminds me of Bloch's underwater base from AUF. I have to admit, I've never read a comic book, but I might have to give this one a look. Do digital editions of such things exist?
