Ah, then again, that's the thing about German Delight. You chaps get to enjoy evenings sooner than we would. :D

    Where I live, it's only 10:16 AM.

Technically you are right. But the downside is i have to get up much earlier every day than you folks do.

10:16? just call it a Morning Cocktail and treat yourself ;)

For the sake of the 00-Section, then, I most certainly will. :D

Cue 'The James Bond Theme' wildly (yet exclude any hints of rock and stuff). ;)

    YES!!!! :D

The first time I heard that version of Theme in full, with the speakers turned on in full just in case... This played six hours repeatedly at home that day. :))

Dennis Calero gave me an update on twitter

Depending on how far the coloring and lettering is, it could possibly still come out end of december.
at least it would be a really nice Christmas present :D
But first Quater of 2018 is probably more likely

Holly hell, it's horrible. The shape are nor clean, like blur (like the Bond comics by Everest), the choice of color give a depression, the last two images give the impression there a horrible white filter add above them, the painting on the wall of the 2 and 3 page is ridiculiousy just monochrome... Well, at least, M is white.

I was excited to read CR before (who have been dealayed again to the 13 decembet btw), now I get limp.

I think it’s very decent, and I’m looking forward to it even more.

I love the style, looks like a vintage comic from 1953 which is appropriate

I personally LOVE the look of these pages, and they really excite me for the rest of the book. It looks like how comics actually used to have to be colored (with limitations regarding printing/coloring of the pages at the time). The prominent blues, greens, purples and other muted hues are really evoking that classic, vintage look that really gives the book a feeling it should have considering it is a period piece and adapting a 50s story. It's like a lost comic from decades back.

As an old soul, this artistic decision is right up my alley.

    Dito.
What i like about it, is that it's unique. Its not trying to look like the modern day comics from Dynamite but it also doesn't try to look like the Connery movies.

Its a smart artistic decision and feels very close to what i imagined when I read Casino Royale for the first time in 2006.

I agree, @00Agent. I just love the mood of the pages, and how the colors work together while also being variations of vibrant and muted. It must've taken a lot of time to color them and balance the hues, but boy did it pay off.

I'm actually positively reminded of both the original and recolored Batman: Year One, which captured that same beautiful but sombre mix of color while also playing with vibrancy and mixes of primary and secondary color:

I think the art looks pretty cool. Very atmospheric!

Is it just me or is Bond the spitting image of Michael Fassbender in these previews?

    He totally is :))
To be fair though, Fassbender has a slight resemblance to Hoagy Charmichael, especially the cheeckbones and chin, plus the cruel mouth. So it kinda fits Flemings image of Bond anyway
