    I'll concur with everyone that Solstice was indeed a good read. Really, really starting to get impatient for the Casino Royale adaptation!

    I could see Hammerhead, Black Box and Kill Chain working as movies. Vargr and Eidolon, not so much.

    Agreed, but i think Eidolon and especially Vargr would be great for TV

    I don't own, nor have I ever read any Bond comics other than parodies in MAD magazine! But I am definitely interested in delving into this corner of Bond media. Where would be a good place to start?

    Permission To Die (1989). That's where I start first. Not counting the tie-ins, that is.

    Premission To Die is a great starting point. Very underrated comic and one of my favorites. It was the First Comic Book that was not based on a movie and had a completely original Bond in it. His characterisation was also spot on.

    After that i would Read Serpents Tooth, which is a classic, and rightfully so.

    Those two are the only pre-Dynamite Comics worth reading as far as i am concerned.

    Such a shame A Silent Armageddon was never complete. It would have been the third greatest Bond comic book. The Quasimodo Gambit isn't bad either.

    Unfortunately the art in Quasimodo Gambit is so horrible imho, that to this day i haven't been able to finish it. Everything is stiff and lifeless. I only finished half of it, i'll go through the rest eventually

    I felt that way towards Shattered Helix. I couldn't understand whatever the hell was going on in that comic. Lol!

    yeah Shattered Helix unfortunately isn't much better in that regard.

    Speaking of movies, has anyone done a "fancast" in their head of who would play the Dynamite series characters? I could see Elizabeth Debicki as Victoria Hunt and Morena Baccarin as Dharma Reach.

    Yep! Some 50 pages back. :)

    I’m glad you also see Morena Baccarin as Dharma Reach. Although, for Victoria, I couldn’t help but see Nicole Kidman in the role.

    This actually might get a December release since it actually is on the last leg. That preview is from one of the last few chapters. So, Chris O'Halloran is the colourist behind this as well.

    Then, it's due for April. Better marketing if it were released on Fleming's 110th.

    Until April, but then it won't be a full circle release. 64th Anniversary of the novel?

    I'd rather they kept it up with 110th Anniversary of Fleming.
