Too strong Irish accent? He does American ok. In my opinion not too old at all and as far as too famous his star has dropped a bit. Now if cast yes would be more known like Moore and Brosnan.
Don't think it is going to happen and watching Farrell as Bond I would probably just see Farrell not Bond but still very interesting what if.
For me it's not how much Craig has aged, but this time the age difference between him and the woman was several years bigger than before (a common obsession in Hollywood), plus while Craig looks his age, Seydoux could easily pass for a younger woman than her actual age. Those things together highlighted the age difference - it's bad enough in actual years (it usually is when people are of different generations), but the difference looks even bigger than it is.
Anyway, why you think it worked makes sense. It didn't work for me, though, but might have the way you saw it if it was better developed.
I agree about Severine, she was excellent and I also would have wanted to see more of her.
License To Kill Returns Again
:P
This is not going to happen but I would welcome a one off with Dalton as a retired 007 called back to finish a mission.
Bond meets Unforgiven starring Dalton? Pretty much my dream film.
It should be 3 hours long!

He doesn't do it for me. He looks more like the kind of nerdy guy that Bond could slap around. Maybe he would be better suited as Q's assistant or something. Huston I can see though.
=D>
Don't necessary agree with that statement, but I can see how people will be divided with him as Bond. Wouldn't mind Huston or James Norton. Solid actors, but I've never seen them outside a few roles.
You're absolutely right, he exudes no alpha male vibes whatsoever. Bond is a character who can walk into any room and be in total control of it. Piddles looks like he'd walk in and start apologizing for causing a fuss.
I ask everyone to seriously think about this - Piddles' most notable cinematic moment is where he's picked up by the Hulk and hurled around like a ragdoll; his most notable offscreen moment is wearing an I heart TS t-shirt. Are these not incredibly wrong associations for James Bond? Bond is, whether anyone likes it or not, a 24/7 gig, the actor is seen as James Bond wherever he goes and whatever he does. This kind of thing is a terrible emasculation of the brand.
Anyway, on a more positive note, I was interested to read in that article that Babs produced a play with Jack Huston, so she has seen him work a set and knows what he's all about. I'm sure she mentally filed that away for future reference, and now here we are with Ben-Hur about to open. God, if its between these two, then I'm team Huston, to put it mildly.
You haven't got a clue what you're talking about. Hiddleston is light years ahead of Huston.
It probably would have. Not by me, though. There was a logic to it. I was always pro-Craig. I didn't think he'd have been as successful as he was, but he had the swagger. Hiddleston has that. (I don't think it'll be him, mind you).
Gives them enough time to search all the names out there. No need to rush.
We need to clone Pierce Brosnan (circa 1984):
Problem solved. Anyone know how much cloning equipment is on eBay? ;))
That s the Brosnan legacy.
Those who don't...
... get delt with by Brosnan!!
"This is my scenario, I make the rules."
;)
Brosnan IS the man!
