Yea I agree too ...I'm a fan of Elba... would like to see him in more action roles and with his own accent.
Hunnam looks very young, so it's probably too early anywhay, and he smiles perhaps a bit too easily, but that trailer of Arthur is rather convincing if you ask me.
Craig was a welcome change of gear, but if we're seriously seeing people like Hunnam or Ejiofor as contenders then we're basically saying come one, come all. I think they should make a concerted effort to go traditional with the next Bond. It would be a nice two fingers to the Guardianista types who are so obsessed with cultural iconoclasm.
I agree.
He's too surfer dude to me.
Completely agree. This is where someone like Hiddleston gets another tick IMO.
Agreed. The Beniffer-like relationship with Swift is a tad annoying but he still has my vote.

That's true. It's strange how non of the actors of this generation has a voice which is special or good enough for Bond but if we get picky with that we will never find the next Bond.
This is how id rank the actors only by voice
1 Sean Connery by just saying one word you can identify his voice. Its a heads turning voice.
I was at the designing 007 exhibition and at the casino section they played many if the casino scenes i was checking a specific costume or picture and whenever Connnery's scene was playing by just listening to his Bond, James Bond right awaybinturned to watch tge video.
2 Pierce Brosnan a very nice mix between soft and deep, maybe his voice is not as powerful as Connery's but its a voice that does the trick when it comes to seducing the Bond girls.
3 Daniel Craig- very deep and commanding, the way he closed Casino Royale with the Bond entry was perfect.
4 Roger Moore- I don't like much his voice but it's definitely distinctive and perfect for the Bond movies he was in.
5 Timothy Dalton-Very good voice but lacks distinctivness, its not a voice that you distinguish right away.
6 George Lazenby- Very high pitch voice but like Moore its distinctive.
:-& ...point taken.
Hiddleston has the voice.
That's fair. And to be honest none of the names have hit me as great names. I've enjoyed Craig but not so much SP and I've never been able to shake the slash wrist comment either.
If we could take Turner's look, Hiddleston's acting, and Hardy's physicality and intensity and mesh it all into one guy then maybe we might have our man.
:D
Just like the Henry Cavill argument, its hard to be both Bond and Superman, its just as hard to be Bond and Batman. That said, I's still love to see Cavill play Bond, because his Superman isn't really working out...
