  He does to me. Although, he should trade that wing collar for a turndown one. Bond would never wear a wing collar shirt with a tuxedo (unless you count his best-man “tuxedo” in LTK).

  Agree, for me Madden is a big no and Cavill I could live with. As in, he looks like he could be a successful stripper, too. I want my Bond a bit more low key and mysterious, like one Mr. Aidan Turner.

  Not trying to burst your bubble here, but Turner looks more like a stripper and far more effeminate. Cavill's getting the rugged look slowly, which makes him enough of a candidate to be Bond.

  Not that I'm an expert in the field, but male strippers tend to look 'hyper masculine' and not effeminate, at all. Cavill looks hyper masculine, almost to a caricature degree.Turner certainly does not look like a stripper, let alone effeminate.

  Some would say that Moore was “boyish” at a similar age; in the 60s he was the definition of a pretty boy. Now beyond that, I’m not comparing the two but Turner is actually the more rugged looking at this age.
  As far as the hair, it’s of no consequence, it’s a prop.

  Boyish looking or not, we are a few years off at least before we see the next guy start filming Bond 26 (most likely). Turner might need a few years to "mature" looks wise, while Cavill looks like he could start shooting scenes tonight.

  At this stage, I think it's more likely they'd plump for Turner over Cavill. The latter has too much audience recognition and baggage as Superman, while the latter has practically zero as far as global cinemagoers are concerned. He's an open book; perfect for a new Bond. Something of a retread look that's the top half of Connery's face and the bottom half of Brosnan's, though Turner may have. ;)

  Good points, I agree. Throw in a bit of Dalton in there too and we have a classical handsome Bond.

  Still, I'm not fully opposed to Turner becoming Bond as long as he grows into it the way Brosnan did after the eighties. I'd rather have Turner than most of the other names suggested here like James Norton or Nicholas Hoult.

  I’m no Turner fan (for Bond) but he’s a significantly better actor than Cavill. I’ve always thought he lacked a certain something, but I’d take him in a heartbeat if the alternative was Cavill.

  On all the Fotos I´ve seen he doesn´t show that, he appears to try no less than Cavill.
