Too difficult for me, I can’t keep 7 films in my brain in one go! 😊

Let me stress that it is something exclusively common for these films.

Yes I think the game is more enjoyable when it's in three's.

To be fair, with more than 3 films it is often more specific (not that many possibilities which would all work as a solution).
But a more specific hint would be allright for me.

OK, we are looking for something which is missing from these films.

I suppose. Though when I have done the three films I get lots of guesses that aren't the correct one. Seven films I have to really give it big thought. I usually get frustrated and give up with no attempt at an answer. For example with this last one I started to think of what it might be and after careful thought I wasn't getting it. I gave up.

No one? Here is a very specific clue: Think about the titles.

No female singer. Instead a male singer or a title sequence without vocals at all. FRWL would fit becaus of MR. Munro but his sung version is only at the end.

The title of the song is not the name of the film?

You got that right. So which one is the odd one out?

Alternately I think it’s also true that the name of the film is not in the lyrics of the title song ...

TSWLM is. But that is not the odd one out.

Oh ye, you have to find an odd one out! I forgot, I thought we were finding something they all had in common *facepalm*

They do and yet one is different.

Oh ye ... getting all confused ...

So possibly Dr No, because the opening credits are a combination of two tracks - the JB theme and that 3 blind mice track? Or possibly Dr No because the opening credits are a track (the JB theme) which appears in other films? Still not convinced ... 🤔

    Not that one.

Hmm, having checked again it seems the track on the opening credits of OHMSS is called OHMSS but of course it’s not a song, just an instrumental.

Possibly: None of the films have the traditional song named after the film. However all the films do have a song on the opening or closing credits (OHMSS = WHATTITW) apart from Dr No

Alternately: None of the films have the traditional song named after the film. However all the films do feature lyrics in the opening credits apart from OHMSS

I am sooo stretching this, I know I am! 😂

@Max_The_Parrot , I am handing it to you.

There are no songs with the titles of the films, but OHMSS does have an instrumental named as such.

Ah, when you put it so eloquently like that it really is obvious, and yet so fiendishly difficult to work out! Well thought up @Thunderfinger !!

To be fair it was @goldenswissroyale who did the hard work to come up with the theme song connection, I was merely standing on the shoulders of giants. I really don’t have the sort of brain that would have seen that otherwise.

So with that being said, I hope I don’t offend anyone by asking @goldenswissroyale if he would take my place and come up with the next challenge - I need a bit more practice in this thread before stepping up to the mark!

GSR - would you be kind enough?

That was a good round. I prefer it when we have clues more regularly but the answer was definitely an interesting one (and tricky!).

Dear @Max_The_Parrot , you could do it easily. You are in this forum for only a few weeks and you solved already as many games as I did in a year. And your guess the characters rounds definitely show that your brain is ready for much more than you state here.

However, I love to start a new round. In Bond's words (SF): With pleasure M(ax), with pleasure!!!

    New round:
What connects the first three Roger Moore entries and which one of them is therefore the obvious odd one out?

The mission briefings are all unique in the three films.

    LALD at Bond's house
    TMWTGG in M's Office
TSWLM No mission briefing at all.

Therefore TSWLM is odd one out?

    Good thinking. Not that, sorry.

A henchman survives through all three films:

    Baron Samedi in LALD
    Nick Nack in TMWTGG
    Jaws in TSWLM

But Jaws is the only one to appear in an additional film - MR.

Thanks @goldenswissroyale I knew you would save the day! No answer to the puzzle yet but I am thinking! 👍

All directed by returning directors - TSWLM is the odd one out as the other two are both directed by Guy Hamilton?
