Very interesting Dave, thanks for sharing. I also have the Eric Bana cutting in my collection.
  • Thank you very much for the comment, what are the chances of us both having that newspaper clipping?

I know - the minute you said the date I know it would be the Eric Bana one. It mentions he will star in The Man with the Red Tattoo(!) Bought it in the shop that I worked in at the time.

I was looking through some other crazy clippings the other day from The Sun, and they were saying stuff like Daniel Craig is a light weight for having is teeth knocked out and stuff, then some later ones saying how ace he was a what a great film Casino Royale was!

Yes, these redtop tabloid trash are full of rubbish and they always contradict themselves later when they see public opinion has changed. Shame on them.

Even though my parents brought the papers, I feel really embarrassed owning them, in fact now I barely think of newspapers existing and if wasn't for cat litter usage I probably wouldn't even do anything with even the free newspapers.

Fantastic car collection. I only own one of them (the BMW from Tomorrow Never Dies) which I bought from a car boot sale. And glad to see love for FOR YOUR EYES ONLY too!

I've always had a soft spot for that BMW, not only is Tomorrow Never Dies massively underrated in my opinion but that car park sequence and Q introduction to the car are some of favourites scenes in any Bond film full stop,

For Your Eyes Only also I could probably watch that film every day and not get sick of it, I love the score, the car chases, how it's serious and funny and any film that ends with a mad impression Mrs Thatcher is OK by me.

    Thanks for the comments.

I like seeing people's collections so this was great video.

That newspaper was nice touch too. Shame that papers are losing their value these days thanks to the technology.

I am not sure if it's just a collector thing or not but I love looking at other peoples collections of virtually anything (to a point of course), The only real reason I stopped buying newspapers was either the news was not true or I'd already read the information a few days before.

Thanks again for the nice comments.

The only Barry score I own is The Black Hole I think! I love the album but am almost afraid to play it as it's on the worlds most thin vinyl it looks like it's going to snap just by looking at it. Vinyl as been getting steadily popular again over the last 20 years or so, and even though I don't mind digital its not hard to see why when you think about.
