Im annoyed the 360 version did not have the Haiti mission
- The perspective is now 3rd person.
- Bonds clothing is more accurate than the PS3/360 counterpart.
- The Sienna Chase feels more like a chase and less like a shooting gallery.
- Though there are less levels, the games feels like it flows better.
A fun couple hours, though.
Well I liked the graphics on the Xbox 360 version. I thought they were very well done, crystal clear, and lots of attention to detail was shown. As for the fun factor, I always get a thrill when playing QoS on the 360. It's got lots of great gun fights!
-You see Bond now in 3rd person
-More accurate to the events of the films
-Keeps you more interested than the next gen version
-Paces much better
-Funner gunfights that allow you to be tactical
-Great action set pieces, especially the Sienna chase, the Bregenz gunfight, fighting helicopters at the Sink Hole, and the gunfights in the Casino.
I really recommend it. You will have more fun with it than with the weak next gen version.
I'll agree with a good deal of this. Sometimes, however, I was a bit miffed at the choppers at the sink hole, but that's about it.
(Of course I haven't even beaten the thing, I got *right* to the end and just can't manage to shoot Medrano. I don't usually give up with videogames but after dozens of tries I made an exception in this case.)
and found it completely 'meh'.
It wasn't until months later that I read that the PS2 version was an entirely different game. I assumed it was the same one with worse graphics. The PS2's 3rd person made me feel like I was playing the next 'Everything or Nothing'. It was much more enjoyable! I think a Bond game should always be 3rd person, but that's just me. First person-- you could be anyone.
I had trouble with that too. It's been a while, but if memory serves me right you have to get a shotgun before you exit the hotel and go up to the spot where Medrano escapes. Get the shotgun before you leave out of the hotel, and use your sidearm to save shotgun bullets. Once you see Medrano pull out the shottie and go to town on him. You should beat the game then.
Thanks, but are you sure that's in the right version? In the PS2 one he is running to a helicopter and you have to shoot him as he's running. No matter how good my aim seems to be, it doesn't affect him. :-/
Have you just replayed that part?? If you have the shottie and are close enough you should get him.
Haha, no, it's been a while. I'm probably remembering it wrong. I'll tell you what, I will load it up today and try again!! :)
